STUHILL Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Same team but Vardy in for Ulloa and King for Drinky. Harsh on Ulloa as he has been brilliant the last two games but with Vardy and Okazaki partnering each other all season and us doing so well, think we should play it safe and stick with that. Concerned the media might be forcing the FA's hand by banning Huth but I hope not as Was hasn't played all season and I would be concerned having to change any of the back 4 for such a big game if Spurs do win. Everton as bad as they have been, still have players like Lukaku and Barkley who can win games for them but of course, we are rightly favourites to beat them. I hope it doesn't come to us needing to win and it's already settled and everyone can just enjoy the party atmosphere and teh players can put on a show with no pressure.
WigstonWanderer Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Really wish we only needed 1 point. That late goal at Arsenal could yet cost us. (Kicks self up arse - pull yourself together man!)
TrentFox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Interesting team selection ahead. JV back. Probably for Oka? Leo has done superbly in his mini-run. Depending on ronight, do we go all out to win it or go all pout to ensure we avoid defeat so that only a point is required at the Bridge? In which case MA or JS? Not to mention the loss of DD to be accounted for. Just hope that after 10pm tonight it doesn't matter. My big worry is that i think we all expect to be crowned tonight and if Spurs win, it will feel like a body blow and the pressure will be huge for Everron game. Huge.
teblin Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Everton away drinkwater was injured. Huth was suspended. Chance the same could happen.
Fox 4 Life Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Everton away drinkwater was injured. Huth was suspended. Chance the same could happen. And we won! I think it would be incredibly harsh for Huth to be missing, at worst that's a yellow card if the ref sees it.
teblin Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 And we won! I think it would be incredibly harsh for Huth to be missing, at worst that's a yellow card if the ref sees it. indeed. Was kinda my point.
dylanlegend Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 I'd rather Chelsea do us a favour tonight, just want to get over the line now, a draw against Everton isn't inconceivable and that could mean we need a win against Chelsea to win the league (as a draw wouldn't be good enough with Spurs GD) assuming Spurs win all their games which if they beat Chelsea tonight I think they will

We need 2 more points and Spurs can't catch us. Either way your right though we don't want to be going to Chelsea having to get anything
Raw Dykes Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 I would love to see Inler and King get time. An Inler winner would be vindication for his efforts. Huh? Inler has been rubbish in the few apps he's had. He's not even been on the bench for a while. I can't see him being involved, but he might be on the bench. King and Amartey are ahead of him. King or Amartey will replace Drinkwater, and if Huth is suspended, Was or Amartey will replace him. Spurs can only get 78 points. We're already on 77.
daddylonglegs Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 They're bound to be better away from home away from the cauldron of moaning that is Goodison Park. Draw
ousefox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 The weather is warming up - Saturday has so much potential!

No. We only need 2 more points. Spurs can only get 78 points. We're already on 77. I don't think it's fair to say he's been rubbish. It's clear he doesn't fit our system, but I think that's a strong choice of adjective. My comment was written in the spirit of the rest of the season, perhaps even if we clinch tonight. I do understand your perspective, however.
Guest Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Hoping for Amartey in for King. Vardy to score 3 from Amartey having a party. The weather is warming up - Saturday has so much potential! The heat doesn't suit our game.

Fair enough, maybe "rubbish" is harsh, but it's hard to argue that he hasn't been disappointing. I don't think he's done anything to earn a place in the first XI ahead of King, Amartey or even James if he was match fit.

HereBeFoxes Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Drinkwater only one match ban thankfully. Nothing for the reaction. Hopefully it'll all be over anyway by Chelsea but at least he can play in that game.
