GaelicFox Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Is it definitely the Sunday?? Google says Saturday (but not from a very reliable source)... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sky sports Said the Sunday today I can't remember it being on a Saturday since sky came on scene
Bluefoxtim Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Every charity/community shield game has been on a Sunday in recent times. Currently scheduled for a Saturday but hope it's moved as can't do the 6th.
LutterworthLCFC Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Fuchs sake, I'm in Portugal then. Note: never book a holiday at the start of the season.
glar84 Posted 4 May 2016 Posted 4 May 2016 Any word on when these will be for sale? Not until we know who has won the cup final
Filbert_Ross Posted 4 May 2016 Posted 4 May 2016 East Midlands news just had it marked down as the 6th August. Could do with this getting confirmed properly so can get stuff booked. Surely more likely to be on the Sunday.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 4 May 2016 Posted 4 May 2016 its the 7th August https://twitter.com/BetterPlayUK/status/727457683524227072 kinda confirms it with this tweet Wouldn't mind going to this to be fair but no doubt won't have a chance of getting a ticket
Karljohn Posted 4 May 2016 Posted 4 May 2016 Going to be a fair few who hold season tickets who will be on holiday. I am certain this will be available to members ahead of general sale.
Big Dave Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 I think the Community Shield is usually played on the Sunday before the Premier League season starts, so should be 07th August (Premier League fixtures start on the weekend of 13th August next season. Last couple of Community Shields have kicked off at 3pm too, so I presume this will be 3pm.
Pasty1 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Season Ticket 1 each...... Then Gold Members..... Then Silver..... Then General sale....... Club keen to reward the member scheem......
Out Foxed Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 that leicester v barca game will be a washout then. be a second string.
Rincewind Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Would not mind going. Might see if a few want to arrange a group mini bus outing from one of my regular haunts. Depending on the price of tickets of course. And ticket availability.
MrSpaM Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 I'd be very surprised if they are going to let people buy any more than 1 or two tickets each
EastAnglianFox Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Hope this makes silver members, anybody know if the Charity Shield is always a sell out or not?
Smiffy Fox Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Any season ticket holder unable to make this, I'm in need of 1 extra reference. I'm willing to give 3 free tickets for the 1st home game of next season in exchange as I'll be away on holiday.
