shinyshorts Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Chelsea received an initial allocation of 27,000 tickets in 2015 - and an additional 2,000 later on.
surrifox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Monstrously early I know but does anyone know how the tickets for the Charity Shield will be allocated? What are the chances of non-season ticket holders securing any?
crisp packet Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Monstrously early I know but does anyone know how the tickets for the Charity Shield will be allocated? What are the chances of non-season ticket holders securing any? Members and be surprised after that?
Bayfox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Monstrously early I know but does anyone know how the tickets for the Charity Shield will be allocated? What are the chances of non-season ticket holders securing any? Chelsea got 29k allocation last year, so based on 1 per season ticket holder, this should make members, but that's not allowing for the owners looking after people, and the staff getting tickets. I would think it will not make general sale tho, if that's what you mean.
FrankieADZ Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Bottom tier behind the goal. there I was thinking you'd be with the prawn sandwich lot id certainly be surprised if there was any to go on general sale tbh, but nothing surprises me about the way tickets our sold these days

Bayfox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Hopefully those tickets will come out of the rest of the 30k rather than our allocation but probably not. I'm not sure how the others get split out, but I assume as it's the community shield, a lot get sent to local level clubs, sports clubs, charity causes etc, no idea what the deal is with, sponsors and our own big wigs etc are. however 23k to season ticket holders 4k to members would still eat up the majority.
Lcfc_lass10 Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Bottom tier behind the goal. Yep was thinking the same!
Voll Blau Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 We won't stand. Grim isn't it. Can't think of many in recent years who haven't all stood behind that goal.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Bottom tier behind the goal. Yup. Don't you dare buy tickets behind the goal it you're planning on sitting down
Jace Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 May try to get tickets through the FA or corperate only chance I think for this 1
smr Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 May try to get tickets through the FA or corperate only chance I think for this 1 If you've got at least a Silver membership I think you'll be ok getting a ticket.
Notsomuchthesedays Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 A bit early to be in a panic about tickets for this one............enjoy the Chelsea game and parade first! There will be 25,000 'neutral' tickets floating about that will come on the market at not very inflated prices. Been to a few charity shields as a neutral or with friends and always plenty of tickets about. Enjoy the fun of the next week and a summer of wearing your shirt with pride.......................and then get tickets. I'm off to watch a re-run of Saturday again for the twentieth time.

Have to see first what the club do with memberships for next season as the club are looking at a new system as too many touts can now purchase tickets as memberships were left open.
Ashley Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 We will get 27,000 - 29,000 for this pretty poor when Wembley holds 90,000
Bayfox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 We will get 27,000 - 29,000 for this pretty poor when Wembley holds 90,000 Not really. The clues in the title. The fa cup is worse as that should be for fans of the clubs.
Filbert_Ross Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Should've built Wembley to hold 140k knowing that 50k of the tickets are going corporates etc.
promised land Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 We will get 27,000 - 29,000 for this pretty poor when Wembley holds 90,000 Pretty poor? Check out FA cup allocations of better still liverpools final allocation, anything above 23k so every STH can get one if wanted, I'd say is a good allocation.
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 has the date officially been announced for this yet ?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 I think the problem is not each teams allocations and whether season ticket holders can be guaranteed a ticket but actually a question of where do the other 30k tickets go?! Third of the ground filled by who exactly? All corporate and Fa and Wembley people which will leave a lot of empty seats
Long Eaton Fox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Silly question really. Does any of the money raised by ticket sales go to any charities?
