Merging Cultures Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Bit harsh buddyJust edited it to say, use the search function first or read the other threads.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 It should be in the City colours. Disappointed, but never mind. Time for a "smiley" with the Premiership Trophy, surely?
Guest Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Id like to see white shorts return. I can cope very easily with gold, yellow or any other colour our owners ask for being involved given the success they've brought and the fact their lucky gold does indeed appear to be extraordinarily lucky!
stretch1965 Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 If thats what Top wants then that is fine by me. But if he done a vincent tan and chnaged our home colours to red Id say " OI TOP, NOOOOOO"
Vacamion Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 We win the Premier league and people moan about the colour scheme of the ribbons? Blimey.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Should they be blue and white? Yes. Should we care? Not really.
Leeds Fox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 I always think blue and white looks generic anyway, as it's the same colours as the Barclays logo, it just looks as though it's standard. If a bit of gold on the kit and the CHAMPIONS ribbons is all people can moan about, have a long hard thing about what we've achieved, and why it's been possible. It's a small price to pay. Anyway, it looks absolutely class!
FoxesFan94 Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Didn't like it when I first saw the pics but it's growing on me. Looks great and different considering Chelsea, another blue and white team won it last year.
shawy2510 Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Couldn't give a monkey's as long as the trophy is silver & has handles
Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 We win the Premier league and people moan about the colour scheme of the ribbons? Blimey. Cos we is massif an dey can't dis us bro!
Raw Dykes Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Looks good imo. Different to this years and although gold is a recent addition to the strip we've always had yellow/orange somewhere That's why I'm not in the least bit fussed about the gold on the home kit - we had a gold trim on the kit when I first became a fan in the mid 90s, and of course the fox on the badge. Plus, it looks nice.
Itsthejoeker Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 is it just me that likes the blue and gold? Personally I ****ing love it, gold is an appropriate colour for champions.
crisp packet Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 I think with captain Morgan Holding them aloft, they will look great!
whoareyaaa Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 The yellow reminds me of an old walkers away shirt don't see the problem looks smart.
Jattdogg Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Who gives a shite. I just want that beautiful trophy to shine away
bigbiff Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 I know we are blue n white but as far as I am bothered when I started to support lcfc we were blue n yellow and I for one want it back that way not a huge fan of white and the ribons look lcfc
Dodgy Bob Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 No problem with it whatsoever. I'd regard blue as part of our identity and too important to change, but I don't really care about whether the secondary colour is white or gold, or pink or green or whatever really. I do also think blue and gold looks better than blue and white and it does make us a bit more unique. Plus the Fox has always been a bit gold so it works historically too. Leicester City, blue and gold champions of England, I'll take that any day of the week.
holyfox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 After all that they've done for this club, what's the big deal? As long as blue stays, they can whatever secondary colour they want for all I care. Some people just can't handle not having anything to moan about
CheshireFox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 There has been yellow/gold in our kits regularly for many years now, as others have said at least it looks a bit different than standard blue/white and ffs the owners haven't tried to change our main kit to red have they so where's the beef? Some people will just moan about anything.
lifted*fox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Considering our owner's culture has played it's part in us winning this trophy I couldn't give a **** if they want yellow/gold on the ribbons. Without them this club would not have achieved this success. We were all quite happy to have the monks in blessing the pitch, the changing rooms, etc. Pearson was removed and Ranieri bought in because of their respect for their culture. You can't just accept it in one instance and then moan about the colour of some text on some ribbons. They've done this club a whole world of good - I'm sick of hearing people say 'they're owners that's what they should do'. ALL owners of football clubs SHOULD have the clubs best interests at heart but our owners genuinely have whilst many, many others don't, at all. If they want to have a bit of yellow on the trophy to give a nod to their king and that brings us another season of joyous football then who really gives a ****?
foxychik Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Over the years we've had gold/ yellow away kits we've got gold on the strip this season and last - we win things with all blue kits - the royal blue is the most important colour. I like the yellow tbf ! And if all we've got left to winge about is the f***king colour of the ribbons in the trophy, happy f***king days
