Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 1/10 now with the bookies, that's normally the writing on the wall with transfers5000/1 meant we had no chance of winning the leauge
Systonfox74 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 If Vardy goes to Arsenal (all theses reports can't be wrong and no smoke without fire and all that), it can be only for the London lifestyle and for the money in wages Arsenal are prepared to pay him. At this moment in time we can offer footballing wise the same as them, champions league football and the chance of more domestic trophies. Out of all our players I thought like others Vardy would be here at the start of next season. What worries me that if Vardy goes, will Drinkwater, Kante, Mahrez, Kasper stay or go elsewhere? We could potentially see the spine of our Championsip winning side ripped out in one summer. I appreciate we will never offer the same wages as the traditional big clubs, but I at least thought the current starting XI would stay one more season.
foxfanazer Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Erm that is what his agent is for hahaha. Jesus Christ. You think his agent just acts without input from hus customer. Jesus christ man. The only thing that has been confirmed is Arsenal have activated his release. At this moment the rest is conjecture.
The Doctor Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 This is the time they do mean something. Preki. Nuff said.
Merging Cultures Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 the Fleetwood 25% thing would have always been there since we signed him. Whether we sold him for £2m or £200m, Fleetwood would always get 25%. Why does it mean something? They're just reacting to a wave of money being bet on his move. So bring down the odds so they lose less money when it inevitably happens. The bookies have no influence on this kind of move. They are adjusting their price because people are betting. RATIONAL people do not bet unless they believe they will win. RATIONAL people consider the news, rumours, and other factors before risking their money. If it doesn't mean anything, stick a tenner on him staying.Oh and I don't know why you think I said the bookies have any influence. They do not. They are reacting to the market, which is reacting to the news that he is signing for Arse.
sandy2109 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 has anyone got any positives to full me with hope? I'm very worried
foxfanazer Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 has anyone got any positives to full me with hope? I'm very worried We are premier league champions. Remember that?
Wymsey Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Wonder what Jamie would say if he was asked what do you want to say to Leicester fans? ''Thanks and sorry.''
midland_red Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Wonder what Jamie would say if he was asked what do you want to say to Leicester fans? ''Thanks and sorry.'' he would say something to the effect that I always wanted to stay at City and I'm grateful for the opportunities I had here. But more recently opportunities came up which for the benefit of my career and my family I could not afford to turn down.
davieG Posted 4 June 2016 Author Posted 4 June 2016 Mercury said earlier the buy out clause can only be triggered by teams who have qualified for the champions league though. Doesn't mean they can't offer more and get agreement.
Merging Cultures Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Preki. Nuff said.Whoever bet on him was really dumb!! I doubt this is the same misinformed idiot betting this time!!
The Guvnor Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Let's just wait and see what happens over the next 48 hours, and for those who have abused his wife you are fcuking pathetic and an embarrassment to our club.
ramboacdc Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Whoever bet on him was really dumb!! I doubt this is the same misinformed idiot betting this time!! Think that is now the 2nd biggest thread on foxestalk.
ramboacdc Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Doesn't mean they can't offer more and get agreement. If we are going under the impression that vardy wants out, where could we barter on price if we wanted him to go to Liverpool instead of arsenal? We couldn't hold out for 50-60m when arsenal are further down the track and closing fast.

Strokes Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Have we got another month of this if nothing is sorted by Monday morning!? It depends how England fare in France, I think we only lasted 8 days in Brazil.
EastAnglianFox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 If the reports of the medical were true then surely the likes of Tanner/Stringer etc would have been all over it by now. 60 odd pages and yet all we really know is that Arsenal have activated a clause which is around the 20 mill mark
ramboacdc Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Any thing on Arsenals offer is a bonus, why does it need to be 50-60m Cuz if he wanted out and there was no buyout, we can name the price and he wouldn't go cheap. But now....anything goes.
