Wymsey Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 No she hasn't. I just checked her Twitter. Twitter should be banned. Full of lies and trolls.
SheppyFox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Well I really wasn't expecting this. The whole release clause thing just makes it worse. I can only assume that his agent insisted on that when signing a new contract as would make no sense from our end. I think we need to learn once and for all, there is no real loyalty in football. Even the greatest sportng achievement in Football, can't change that unfortunately. If anyone would have gone against that with no sense, break the mold, stubborness, then I would have said Jamie Vardy... but I guess not. Real shame and I actually think this will turn a nation that begrudgingly adores him (rough edges and all) to a nation that really dislikes him and will be waiting for his fall from the top. If I were to pick any team in the Premiership that I thought he would least suit, then it would be Arsenal. I think a huge part of his success, is down to our style and Arsenal play the complete opposite. I think he could massively struggle and you watch the Arsenal fans and fans alike label him the one season wonder as he warms the bench for Arsenal, making 10min appearances from the bench. This isn't me trying my best to be bitter, just firmly what I believe will predictably happen, just as another player has predictably shown us that there really is 0 loyalty in Football. Sad news but we move on. I agree mate, but let's see if it's true first, could just be a load of old cobblers
EnglishOxide Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 To me, the key here is a swift response by the club. If indeed he is off, we need to move fast to show we don't plan on the squad being torn apart. Get a class replacement in immediately, I don't care how much the transfer costs. Need to be proactive and keep moving forward. Lukaku. 40m.
chicagofox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 He's got the chance to play for one of the biggest clubs in Europe and earn more money than he ever will. It's looking more bad than good I'd say. I thought it was Arsenal who were in for him?
dylanlegend Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 To be fair is Arsenal are daft enough to offer him £130,000 a week over 4 years then you can see why Vardy would go. The think that is annoying is it seems this has all iniated from Vardys people. Therefore, he was looking for a move and actively pursuing one- this is why he will and should get booed.
HankMarvin Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 her twitter page says nothing of the sort and to be fair she had arranged a 72 hour sex fest for Jv so hopefully he won't have time to sign she text him are you up for arsenal, he cant read and is getting ready to stick it up her pooper
Merging Cultures Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 she text him are you up for arsenal, he cant read and is getting ready to stick it up her pooperThat was pretty funny!
Guest nathan. Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Didn't Everton say they wanted 65m lol Apparently Lakaku has a release clause of 2p
EnglishOxide Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Didn't Everton say they wanted 65m lol Just need to get him to come out in public and say he wants to leave. Price soon comes down.
Babylon Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Apparently Lakaku has a release clause of 2pProbably would be if Rudkin was in charge of their contracts.
Mike Oxlong Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Chill yer bones fellas Anderson Perry's conducting negotiations on behalf of the gooners

Arsenal Fans TV on You Tube reckon that Wenger preferred Vardy to Kante and Mahrez. Could this end up a bit like the recent Arsenal interest in Kante, resulting in Xhaka being signed. For Kante, read Vardy for Xhaka read someone like Morata or Benzema.

chicagofox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Andre Gray or Callum Wilson £20million id take Let's see how Gray does at Premier League level first, shall we
GaelicFox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 I just told my missus she has a release clause of "one 20yo Russian Brazzer" I'll let you know if anyone comes in and meets that !
Finnaldo Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 To be fair next season: A) chances are he wouldn't repeat last season's feat; if that is so then a similar player like Wilson or Gray wouldn't go amiss because; B) if we want to consolidate we need more goals all over the pitch, no good relying on Vardy & Mahrez again. It'll be the Champions League football that draws players in, not the squad. If he goes or not we'll be fine.
49er Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 i dont remember kante having a medical When did Vardy have one?
foxfan92 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Wow. Obviously worried by the news, but we don't do ourselves any favours do we? Insulting his wife both on here and on her Twitter is hardly likely to sway Vardy to stay. After all he's done here it could contribute to his decision if he thinks his wife is upset by things fans are saying. Now were linked with a tonne of strikers - if Vardy goes let's hope whoever we get is just as hungry and committed as he has been, and fits into our system just as well too. I sincerely hope he's not off - and no longer chat to the staff there so haven't a clue what's happening behind the scenes but I am surprised by some of the people on here who I normally would say are more rational posters. Yes I'm sure we're all upset and emotional at thought of some of our stars going - I hope we can keep them all but I get the feeling it'll be an up and down transfer market with times like this as we watch to see if our stars leave and other times when we get excited by the names being linked to join us. Let's try to enjoy the ride .... Or as I am - hide behind the couch crossing every finger and toe and praying whatever team we have come the start of the season we enjoy another successful year and make headlines for all the right reasons again.
EastAnglianFox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 In the time I've been refreshing this thread, Chappy the lookalike has opened a new McDonalds and is now the star guest at a fundraiser event at Tesco! I need to do more with my life.

Sad news but we move on. This, the main reason he was successful for us was due to his pace suiting our counter attacking football. If he moves to Arsenal, I firmly believe he will be completely useless.
