Just defending his mate Mark Hughes. Stoke fan who seems realistic comes on and says the football is crap, Savage tells him to be careful what he wished for or similar patronising bollocks. The fan made the point that last season they played entertaining football and did well but this season has been dire, Savage just ignores him and defends Hughes who he thinks could manage a much bigger club!

 

Any fan has the right to say if the football is boring. Ignoring their points and making stuff up makes for crap radio.

I wonder whether Palace took so much out of themselves winning against the big boys they've ran out of steam against the teams around them (Burnley and us).

 

Had they not had those wins they'd be right in the mire.
