Plenty of bland and poor teams about this season that are set to survive.

Burnley, Stoke, Watford, Bournemouth.

Let's hope Brighton, Newcastle and the play-off winner can shake it up a bit next season.

Sunderland could do a Villa and it might take them a good few seasons to reconstruct and challenge for the top spots of the Championship.

Was having this convo in the pub tonight. The standard of the Prem this season is pretty shocking.

Yes no more better than last season but as the top 7 includes the media darlings, it's not been said or picked up.

Listened to the Man City on Five Live before ours and the first half was just Alan Green and Danny Mills slagging Crystal Palace off and it was only 1-0 then!

That Hull result is massive and could be the turning point, just shows you can't ever take three points for granted.

Hull need to win at palace and home to Spurs to give any chance that palace may go down. Add to that swansea would need to take four points from six. sadly can't see it.  Who do we want more ? Maguire or sigurdsson ?

When you look at how crap West Brom, Watford and Stoke have been for so long this season you begin to wonder how any of them got the points totals they've got.

We probably gave them some early doors.

And Sunderland / Middelsborough should give you at least 8 points.

I think id sooner play Jeff in goal than at centre back

I had to laugh

Pep's impressed by him mind... £50 million bid going in, to play him at centre half!

What was Fat Sam thinking though? Apparantly they were working on the back four in training all week...didn't work.

Delaney came off the bench why didn't he start?

Schlupp and Van Aanholt in their defence - two of the worst defenders we've had in recent years... **** me, they're a load of toss.

 Cost them 26 million.

Not sure... but he came off the bench to replace the other recognised centre half!

Snap that Jordan Pickford up in the summer!

He's got a great future

Just about to post that, if we do lose kasper, looking at him, he could come straight in.

I disagree...I believe the middle teams have improved over the years, the game and skill presentation.

Plus ...all these teams mentioned IMO played some great football, before Jan/feb.

After this period and only in the English PL, many teams drop off including the top 6-7.

The difference is those top teams, have better quality players through their squad.

Watford, who in the last 2 seasons,Started well and their top 14 players looked damn fit,

TodayWhat I saw was a slightly overweight (Deeney has always been robust/rotund), a team

that was carrying 2-3 kilo more than normal, and s rent getting away with it, but they Still did

have a few good moves, then lost interest and discipline.

Not forgetting we are the only team that looks ugly, wears the mongrel reputation with pride, but, because of our style and ethos, we have some magic moments, where our movements are sublime.

Burnley fans can be proud, Dyche somedays hes worth listening to, other days one could punch him on the nose. But they do have a solid base and a good group of ca 14 players

I just believe, all teams begin to wilt coming to March, then you see some individual players

burst through and carry the teams, or like the top teams, your rests and quality of squad pulls them through, with 1-3 teams at the top as well near the bottom find as teams a 2nd wind, or like city refind their form.

Look at Manu, with all their injuries should of slipped, down 3-5 places, but the quality in their

fringe players has kept their season going.

Everton had great 1st half to the season, but have been really hit and miss these last 3 months.

I actually think there are positive and negative, fans that have traits of just dislinking other teams, which squeue and screw their perspectives.  Plus there aint half alot of grumpy old men

and young moaning minnies, w h o would rather die before they give out compliments..

Kevin Kilbane saying he sees Swansea as being in the driving seat - what made you say that, maybe that they've got more points? Far too much state the obvious punditry going on nowadays.
