It was fascinating to hear Danny Simpson this morning on Goals on Sunday explain what a massive motivation towards the title it was that Arsenal did a team selfie after only scraping past our 10 men on 94 minutes.

The dressing room selfie,  unless you celebrating a title or a promotion or a cup is embarrassing and can be counter-productive.

What's so frustrating is that we could and should have been easily Top 6 this season. You look at Chelsea who are miles better than everybody but then the rest are so bang average- Arsenal, United, Liverpool - they're really not that good. Had we played the system that suits our players from the word go then we would surely have been right in the mix for a top 5 or 6 place. Frustrating.

I can't remember who exactly (Think its atleast a couple) but i'm sure i've heard other players speak about this.

Arsenal will probably finish in the top 4.  They have beaten us by a pure lucky goal, and their first goal today was incredibly lucky.  it will be a travesty if they do finish in the top 4...I hate them.

Doubt it, if Liverpool win their last 2 it's out of their hands.

West Ham away, they'll go back to being crap now they've beaten Spuds and Boro at home who are relegated and shit.

We proved that it's a shit league last season, as soon as you have a bit of quality and show consistency you'll win the league.

Still can't believe Jeff played at CB. That was never going to end well.

To be honest two things surprised me about the outcome that would give me a bit of hope if I was a Palace fan - they kept it down to 5 and they only took 90 seconds to go behind. I was expecting more like 8 and 45 respectively.

He really did then? I assumed it was a joke. A joke in the same category as "Let's put Filbert in goal." Amazingly according to whoscored he's not even rated their worst centre back. And he has no error markers against his name unlike his defensive partner. Why do it though? I imagine Big Sam arrive at work drunk telling everyone they're pretty much safe so who cares, then asked if anyone fancied a go at centre back saw Sclupp's hand shoot up and thought fuch it why not before taking another swig from his hip flask.

They've got a defensive injury crisis, evidently caught the Man U curse.

Palace fans don't think Schlupp did too bad of a job there though.

From the highlights, it didn't look as though he was too bad- the majority of Man City's goals were down to midfielders not picking up their runners on the edge of the box.
