Personally I prefer blue and gold, its unique. How many clubs have blue and white? Loads would be my guess. It makes us stand out and I'm all for that. Long may it continue.

I actually thought the ribbons looked nicer than blue and white

was gonna say the trophy looks fu cking belter with these ribbons on.

Imagine how much slimmer Gary Taylor Fletcher would have looked in blue and gold

White put 2 stone on him

Or was that white bread ?

My missus got a little blue and gold number in for after the Everton game ;)

Unfortunately I got pissed out of my tree and fell asleep on a train to Sheffield ! Hopefully I get out of the dog house and then we can win the league again next year so I get to see this little number :)

Gold/yellow has been around as a third colour at the club for so long I can't see it being a big problem being the 2nd colour it seems to have brought plenty of good fortune!!

It's hardly on the scale of Cardiff changing to red is it ?

We haven't even changed the second kit to gold it's still white isn't it ? and even if we did it's not the first time

And I think it looks good with the blue makes it look a richer colour and it is unique - I'm glad the trophy looked different for us than for Chelsea.

I can't believe a bunch of grown men are getting hissy about a little bit of gold trim :)

If that's what you really think, then you're a tit.

I can just about live with blue and gold, but they better never touch the blue and white badge.

I hate the badge, dead naff, much prefer the 83-92 design. Would welcome a new one. Can't see it happening soon, though.

I think we have the best badge in the Premier League. Its striking and class. I wouldn't change it for the world.

As Firefox shows above, the flags for the trophy day were blue and white, not blue and gold.

I'm fairly relaxed about it. Would like to see a blue and white kit return at some point in the next few years.

Obviously I would be pretty upset if they changed our home strip like the Cardiff owner did, I'm merely suggesting that right now I couldn't care less while everything our owners touch turns to gold.

I bought that shirt and it's blummin beige.

Fosse Beige.

Prefer the out and out gold bits...

I love the blue and gold , it's unique !

I'm the same, I really like it. It's the blue that matters to me, I've never been attached to white as a secondary colour.

As FireFox has shown with the image, I think they are still attempting to maintain white as our traditional secondary colour, which is promising.

It's definitely a different shade of blue nowadays too. Hasn't been "royal blue" for years now. Is a much richer, darker blue.

Our kits definitely look more like Portsmouth's these days.

etc. etc.

As long as the gold/yellow stays as a trim I like it. It adds a bit of elegence to the colours.

If however, we start getting blue shirts and gold shorts I'll be worrying.

I think the owners are always showing their appreciation for the fans though so they are not going to do anything controversial. The last thing they want is bad PR.

The shade of blue has changed from "royal blue" to "reflex blue," and I'm fairly sure this happened when the club signed the deal with Puma.

Agree with this entirely. I think the current gold on the kit is ok because it's subtle and looks quite good (as a trim) but I'm pretty sure we'll keep blue and white colours anyway.

The last season (and next) we've had white numbers too which they could've easily kept gold from last year.

I'm not too worried yet

We could just tell them to give us all their cash and never change a thing.

Fact of the matter is any new boss or owner or ceo has their own vision. Sure there are core values so i expect to see blue as a primary colour forever.

They are also in the business of making money. Making the same colour shirts might appeal to the average lcfc fan but they are also trying to appeal to the masses to bring in more revenue as well.

As long as we don't ever play in Blue with gold shorts, that would look horrible.

I don't mind the ribbons being Blue and Gold, Gold is the colour of champions, and it is not really that important but Blue and White should be our main colours, if the ribbon was blue with white badges with a gold outline, that would have looked good.
