Guest WarehamFox Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Sorry if this has been mentioned, but when is it due? Cheers
jonthefox Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Well deserved! Absolutely. It sometimes seems he's always played for us.
Izzy Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Testimonials are rare things these days. Wouldn't be surprised if Kingy gave all proceeds to charity as he seems like that kinda bloke.
Finnaldo Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Testimonials are rare things these days. Wouldn't be surprised if Kingy gave all proceeds to charity as he seems like that kinda bloke. Kinda bloke that gives 90% of his wages to charity, shops at Topman and carpools with Kanté and his Mini
Izzy Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Kinda bloke that gives 90% of his wages to charity, shops at Topman and carpools with Kanté and his Mini I can see a 'Kingy's the kinda bloke that...' thread coming on I reckon he's the kinda bloke that nips his Mum down the bingo twice a week and does her chores for her when she's there..
Vacamion Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Andy King is the kind of bloke who, when the Forensic team sweeps an ultaviolet light around his room, there is no evidence of sperm where it shouldn't be.
Finnaldo Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Kingy's the kinda bloke who remembers that it's milk, one sugar with no need to ask
LCFC FOX Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Kingy's the kind of bloke to buy cheese a new inflatable dinasour
ALC Fox Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Kingy's the kind of bloke who always gets the first round in.
SystonFox Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Kingy is the kind of bloke you'd take home and show your mum. Kingy's the kind of bloke who always gets the first round in. And doesn't begrudge buying crisps/nuts/scratchings
LCFC1996 Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Kingy's the kind of bloke who makes you breakfast in bed every morning
Xen Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Testimonials are rare things these days. Wouldn't be surprised if Kingy gave all proceeds to charity as he seems like that kinda bloke. Pretty sure that's what all testimonials do nowadays - at least in the championship and premier league...
possiblygeorge Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Kingy's the kind of bloke to buy cheese a new inflatable dinasourWell played
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Will be great for him to get one. King's shown immense loyalty to Leicester and I love how he's developed so well in each league, receiving three medals in that time too. Genuine quality CM. Very nice guy and is a favourite of mine. Club legend.
VLC86 Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Kingy is the kinda bloke that when he walked in on you shagging his Mrs he would put the kettle on for when you finish and share his hobnobs.
Hollism Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Kingy's the kind of bloke who would tell you to make yourself at home, and it would sound like he really meant it.
Benguin Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Kingy's the kinda bloke that gets the ball and scores a goal.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Kingy's the kind of bloke who lets you use his phone as a wifi hotspot.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Kingys the kind of bloke where at school he offered you a chewy before you asked for a chewwy
David Hankey Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Whenever it is it will be well deserved. A great and loyal servant of the Club.
Alf Bentley Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 I can see a 'Kingy's the kinda bloke that...' thread coming on I reckon he's the kinda bloke that nips his Mum down the bingo twice a week and does her chores for her when she's there.. You say that in jest, but it might well be true. When we played at Chelsea in the FA Cup 4 years ago, he was sitting about 3 rows in front of me in the away end with a couple I presume were his parents (that age, certainly). A few fans spotted him and started singing his song. He gave a polite wave and kept his head down, then got a call on his mobile and went out into the concourse to pursue the conversation. Pretty sure that's what all testimonials do nowadays - at least in the championship and premier league... If so, I bet there are a few players who secretly hate Niall Quinn (he was the first to donate his proceeds to charity, I think - or the first to get major attention for doing so).
Bluetintedspecs Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Kingy is the kind of bloke that would do a 'Nial Quinn' without the publicity.
