Walkerfox Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 If we seriously bid £18 million for Steven N'Zonzi then I am embarrassed.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 On another (slightly) related note, how come a proper, proper big boy hasn't come in for Unai Emery yet? He's being linked with Everton at the moment for ****'s sake. Better than that, surely?

They've also now got new investment.

The bloke's won the Europa League three times - I'm not disputing that Everton are a good sized club but I'm talking the bracket above that. I'm also not just referring to this specific moment in time when I ask why nobody has ever come in for him.

To think Sevilla have won the Europa league three times in a row and some people still refer to La Liga as a 'two team league'.
GaelicFox Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 No doubt we can pay a lot more wage than Seville. Outside Real and Barca TV money is shit in Spain That's changed , new law in Spain ensures a fair share for all teams
GaelicFox Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 People looking down there noses at this player WTF LOL Get a grip of yourselves He is quality
dbtcity Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 People looking down there noses at this player WTF LOL Get a grip of yourselves He is quality I guess the same people turning there nose up didn't witness him produce the most dominant midfield display from a visiting player at the kp I've seen in years last season
Wymsey Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 I don't really think he'd fit into this team. He appears to play fancily and with style, but no so hardworking at times - something which the team has been known for obviously this season.

Deluded Scousers who've won nothing and not in Europe! Very attractive. Not.
Dynamogoon Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 I like the bit where they say they don't want N'Zonzi as he's not good enough, they want Kante instead. Wake up scousers, neither want to come to you. You ain't the biggest team in the world, you're just delusional
the_tank Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 I don't really think he'd fit into this team Another (accused) wife beater...he got off though.

You ain't the biggest team in the world, you're just delusional I love how everyone thinks Klopp will build an amazing team there... after finishing 8th (lower than Rodgers ever did) and having no European football to offer. Even if he qualifies them for Europa next season, the'll end up another Southampton selling all their best players.

Tactically they've been awful at times since he came in yet he gets away with it. I guess it remains to be seen whether it's the players not up to what he wants them to do or its his philosophy that leaves them exposed, one thing though they should never have collapsed at times like they have done this season.

This. And the fact that people always say "Well, it isn't his squad". No, it isn't. But that's not an excuse anymore. Ranieri inherited this team and won the bloody league. If his name wasn't Klopp, he'd have been roasted much more.

Liverpool had a list of injuries to key players as long as any the big boys this year. If Klopp can sort that out and make a few decent transfers then they will be challenging for the top four this coming season.

United have Jose. West Ham, if Payet stays fit all season, can probably even do better. The only thing they have for them is less fixtures.

United have Jose. West Ham, if Payet stays fit all season, can probably even do better. The only thing they have for them is less fixtures. That's another advantage. They only have to focus on the league. All the other big teams will be buying all and sundry, with new managers all over the shop. It's nearly impossible to say they will definitely win the league, cos anything can happen, look at this year, but if I was a betting man, and I'm not unfortunately, I'd suspect that they'll be there or there's about with reinforcements in the areas that need attention in the team, without having a total revamp.
