If we only have a limited amount of money to spend; lets say 40 mil, and 20 of it goes towards signing this guy I am not sure what to make of it really. And what kind of message does that send the players on this team, especially the ones that want to leave. If we are to target players "higher than Deeney" with 40 million, how far exactly do you expect that amount of money to go? Its 1 or 2 players at best either way.
