What has been blindingly obvious to anyone who watches England is our defence is not good enough, and we need to go out with an all out attack mentality. Score enough and we will not lose. What does he do? Benches a goalscorer who has won the premier league and is in the form of his life + 3 goals in 4 for his country, goes with 1 up top and stifles Alli's creativity by sticking him in Defensive Midfield to make way for a useless Rooney. Sterling gets in after a horrendous season and an average player in an average liverpool team is alongside him.

oh god he played 70 games for leyton orient or millwall, not like he played non league football 4 years ago and won the prem with a relegation contender

With roy in charge we can dream but may as well forget believing. Look at that line up! We have two strikers who have scored 20+ goals this season and broken records, something Rooney has failed to do time and time again in his career, yet the fat bloke still starts. It's a bloody disgrace. Same old, pick on name and club rather than form, it has been the same for as long as i can remember and I can't see it ever changing.

I don't want to hear all this pundit Kane gushing and the patronising talk of Vardy being given a role as an "Impact sub". Why not let him impact for 90 minutes like he did for a league winning side for the last ten months. One striker (Kane) and Shrek no doubt charging around wherever he feels like a six year old in a playground while everyone else covers for him. If Sturridge comes on ahead of Vardy I'll lace Woys honey-ring with rat poison so he falls off his perch once and for all.
