sphericalfox Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 He stood out whenever I watched Stoke last season. usually he stood out, cos he was walking up the pitch bitchin.
mozartfox Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 He claims to have calmed down since the birth of his daughter 3/4 years ago. His reputation here was not good before that. Fuchs will have good Intel on him no doubt. His best mate in the Austrian Team is Alaba not Fuchs.
Rhysm Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 We should leave him well alone. The top knot freak. The Rat-tailed renegade.
richardsfoxes Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Very good player, would he suit or style though?
Bunyip Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 I'm sure Walshy will speak to Fuchs & find out how he is around the training ground & In the changing room. Would be surprised if he didn't before declaring our interest. As has already been said we haven't even been mentioned anywhere in relation to signing him or even making any inquiries or interest ? Why would Washy be speaking to Fuchs at all ?
Bayfox Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 He's expecting Euro football. He thinks he's better than he is. He's Zlatan-lite. This. Has hints of ibra about him but with about 10% of the actual talent.
Fox_in_DCFC land Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 The last player Stoke sold us turned us in to one of best defences in the league! I'll take a Stoke reject anyday!
EGBFitness Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 100% would take him! His like a budget Zlatan £12.5m would be a steal too really! He can be little inconsistent but challenging in competitions and having the right team around him could bring out the best in him and hopeful regularly. I really rate him!
AyewJoking Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Wasy has just signed for another year, sure getting any wild child to room share with him pre season will soon get them to chillout and be one of the boys you trying to say was is gay?
Jaspa Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 No thanks, turns up for one game in ten. When something oftens not gone right for him in game I think yeah its good that hes getting annoyed about it, you should expect better but then you see him turn sarky at his own team mates and not play for the rest of the game. Its not a winning mentality.
MC Prussian Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 He was a rather troubled and notorious youngster, with nothing but mischief in his head - former youth coaches described a young Arnautovic as "a kid with behavioral disorders" or an "inconvenient free-thinker". Mourinho, then at Inter, once said that Arnautovic was "a footballer with a child-like character". That was about seven years ago. Part of it is probably down to his upbringing. And I suppose he's overcompensating for his rather shy personality by being a boisterous **** to the outside. However, he's probably the most skilled footballer Austria has seen in about 30 years (since the Toni Polster days), but he knows this and was rather a slob early on in his career, taking things for granted and not willing to work on his skills and become a team member. Individualistic and still somewhat erratic and unpredictable by nature, he's the one who can make things happen up front alongside Junuzovic and has tamed down and matured quite a bit as @@mozartfox has already pointed out.
foxfanazer Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 A bit meh as far as I'm concernedHe's anything but 'meh'
GaelicFox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 The guy would be destroyed in our dressing room For his mental health probably best off at west brom ! Massive NO from me
ScouseFox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 love how everyone's a psychology expert and also his closest friend/enemy. if you watch mahrez as an outsider the first things that would come to mind would be he's a) lazy b) arrogant c) not really bothered 99% of the time
surrifox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 He's anything but 'meh' perhaps you missed the "as far as I'm concerned"
Thracian Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 No thanks, he's a deserter when the going gets tough. If he were on the titanic he'd push the women and children out the way and sail off on the first lifeboat.
SportsNut1908 Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Heard from friends he liked beer more than ⚽ whilst in Milan. Jose wanted to kill him during training apparently. I know nothing of his personality since that time but the football skills paired with Vardy could be something quite fantastic.
Barwell Fox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Looked pretty consistent for Stoke this last season, and probably their main threat. Good acquisition for the squad I reckon.
Raw Dykes Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 I really rate him on his day. Could be a bargain at that price. There are questions about his attitude, though. Didn't Mourinho say he was like a kid or something like that? I doubt we'd sign him if there was a real danger he could spoil the team spirit.
The_77 Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 I have no doubt that Huth and Wasyl could straighten out someone's attitude real quick.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 To be honest, he'd be coming into a strong bonded dressing room, and he would probably want to be part of that with the vibes of what our squad is all about. Being around quality players with quality attitudes might help him, if he were to come.
foxes21 Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 didn't he want to leave stoke because they wouldn't up his wages to 100k?
Finnegan Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 This game confirming everything I've always thought about Arnautovic. Obviously skilful but a sulking prima donna who's no way near as good as he thinks he is, is lazy, stroppy and gives up whenever he's losing. Everything we're not about. I really can't see any truth in these rumours. I don't believe our scouting team would go anywhere near him.
