Finnegan Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 andy king last minute winner, 89 minutes of the most boring football you ever did watch in the meantime I'll go ****ing nuts if Kingy pops up with a winner. I might actually die.
apple987 Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Well apparently there's a thunderstorm forecast for 2pm - 4pm tomorrow in Lens.
apple987 Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Wasn't a match at the last euros delayed or something due to a thunderstorm? Could happen again tomorrow.
Jattdogg Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 If ranieri or rachel riley or my Mother inlaw or anyone not named hodgson was managing and we had a set team that made sense instead of the shat we have then we would win 3-0 or 3-1. Wales has some quality and cant be taken lightly so with woy in charge it will be squeaky bum 2-1 or 1-1 (playing for win at 1 nil as is his style) No vardy appearance either. I suspect rashford will make an appearance
johnny the fox Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 So not the man on the street then and you are still wondering why he isn't convinced.
StanSP Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 I'll go ****ing nuts if Kingy pops up with a winner. I might actually die. I think I would too, tbf. Classic run in to the box untracked by Wilshere/Alli. Bale cuts it back to Kingy on his right foot who tucks it in to the top corner streaming past Hart. Chaos ensues.

I would obviously be gutted for England but part of me would be delighted for Kingy. It would be something remembered by the whole of Wales for years
jaqo88 Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Would be very odd if King scored. Out of interest does Kingy get on for Wales at all? Is it even a possibility?
Finnegan Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Would be very odd if King scored. Out of interest does Kingy get on for Wales at all? Is it even a possibility? I have to admit, I was surprised he didn't start vs Slovakia, however as soon as I saw Dave Edwards basically following Hamsik round for 90 minutes, it made sense. Edwards is quicker than King, simple as that really. Our usual three are Ramsey, Ledley, Allen. If one of Ledley or Allen is injured, King is first choice replacement. He was playing in qualifying fairly regularly. We brought on Jazz Richards for a midfielder vs Slovakia, however, which was very strange. That's when King should have been on. Given England don't have one stand out player that needs man marking, I think King is more likely to play but if Ledley is fit to start, he will.
Dodgy Bob Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Wales seem like a proper team, well organised and spirited. I certainly won't be betting against them beating Hodgson's dour, unhappy and confused England team. The only thing Wales might be lacking is self confidence. I think if they can generate some genuine belief in themselves, or perhaps some belief in how poor this England team are, then there is a very good chance Wales will get at least a draw.
Fox92 Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Why would it be odd if King scores. He's not in an English shirt so fvck that I don't want to see him score against us. Hodgson has go to start two up front, those two being Kane and Vardy. Lack of width is a real problem though because of his shit squad selection so the only way to play is a diamond.
Finnegan Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Jenas: Bale won't go near Rose and Walker because he won't get anything out of them because they're "machines." Not being funny but Bale can skin basically everyone in world football. That's just a daft thing to say.

In fact neither of them defend well anyway .
GaelicFox Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 I'll go ****ing nuts if Kingy pops up with a winner. I might actually die.@@ScouseFox will actually .... God the thought of that happening has actually made the hairs on my neck stand up .... And my back

I'd prefer to see bale out wide and destroying a very average England defence but I can see what the Coleman is trying to achieve Hopefully there will be a party conga from the mumbles around the gower on Thursday night
Ric Flair Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Can't agree with any of that Flair pal tbh. Discipline is our biggest strength. We lack ideas short of "give it to Gareth" but we're well organised. We kept Belgium out for 180 minutes and took four points off them in qualifying by being stubborn as ****. The Italy game aside, they've had much more luck scoring over the last two years than you have. We also don't really need anything from the game to get out of the group so I don't see nerves being a big problem. I'll be amazed if the game is particularly high scoring, even if you end up being all over us for 90 minutes and we never register a shot on target (likely.) I wasn't meaning you don't in general have the discipline I just mean tomorrow I think you'll let the passion get to you and that'll work in our favour. I think you'll come at us which is why I wish Vardy was in but hopefully Kane can get his finger out.
casablancas Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 England said refusing to acknowledge fans and sign autographs well apart from Rashford. Doesn't reek of togetherness and spirit.
foxes21 Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 this is the one game where the england team will need to show a bit of passion & determination. wales will have it in abundance, unfortunately like always, we won't.
GaelicFox Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 I think I'll get 8/11 maybe a touch of 4/5 in the machine in play on England I'll plaster my ISA account to those prices I know I had stoked up the Welsh chances But England will win and the above prices are buying money 4/7 today is too short but I can seen good prices tomorrow

Our wide players need oxygen if they cross half way.
purpleronnie Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Looking forward to it, and if we feck it up again at least another home nation team will be benefiting from it.
AKCJ Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Can't see why you'd prefer Vardy to be playing over Kane Finny. Kane isn't going to work against 3 centre halves and two holding midfielders. He'll be snuffed out of the game because of his lack of pace and technical ability. Best bet is for England to play it neat and tidy within about 30 yards of your goal and await the inevitable lack of concentration for Vardy to get in behind. Someone is bound to push up when they're not supposed to and Vardy is one of the best in the world once he's in behind defences. Bit of a pointless argument though seeing as we should be playing two strikers.
Finnegan Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 We'll be so deep that Vardy will get small joy getting in behind Williams and Davies is in that three exclusively to track the runs of quicker players. The reason I'd fear Kane more is that on his day he'll score from anywhere inside twenty yards, he doesn't need to get behind our defence to score.
RonnieTodger Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 I fancy 1-1. Wales to take the lead and us to equalise but run out of time pushing for a winner. A bit like that shitty Ireland friendly at Wembley a couple of years ago.

You say that but hasn't Kane only scored twice outside of his area this season? I'd prefer to see Vardy waiting for a mistake than Kane because I think that we'll need to be patient tomorrow.
