Guest Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 can't wait for the limited edition robin van persil when we win the champions league Roast Robin Walkers more likely
WigstonWanderer Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Less wheels on this rumour than Del Boy's Robin Reliant.
MadKaw Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Pfft, I won't believe it until Vardy follows him on twitter...! Waiting..... perhaps - Baskin Robin..
SB87_LCFC Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Find it hard to see if he did sign whether he would play? Have to agree with posts above that if he came would he be happy being 3rd/4th choice. Not to suggest he wasn't/isn't capable but more to the point at the high intensity we play I don't think he would suit it at this stage in his career. Think we should dodge the bullet on this one and keep to our unearthed gems that Mr Walsh keeps finding....football manager stuff finding these players and turning them into worldies

Think Norwich and other games towards the end of the season. So he wouldn't have to be playing at such a high tempo. It would be a case of using him to keep possession, work the ball around to create space etc.
Nick Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 So since he decided to follow RM & JV on twitter over 30 media outlets have re-hashed the story as some kind of indication he's joining Leicester. I'm signing up to Kiera Knightly's & Megan Fox's now...... This is happening.

mozartfox Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Scouts in Attendance @scoutsattending 26m26 minutes ago Robin van Persie was at Middlesbrough's training ground on Tuesday #boro Encouraging news.
lgfualol Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Boro signing Victor Valdes and RVP. They're trying to copy us buying Man U players.
Nick Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Scouts in Attendance @scoutsattending 26m26 minutes ago Robin van Persie was at Middlesbrough's training ground on Tuesday #boro That was a charity match in aid of the people of the north.
ScouseFox Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 incredible signing for boro. the fact a newly promoted club could be able to offer him what you'd assume would be a six figure wage is insane though.
fox_favourite Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 incredible signing for boro. the fact a newly promoted club could be able to offer him what you'd assume would be a six figure wage is insane though. A certain Cambiasso comes to mind...
Jimothy Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Boro signing Victor Valdes and RVP. They're trying to copy us buying Man U players. Yeah but we buy the young hungry ones, not the old past it ones
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 incredible signing for boro. the fact a newly promoted club could be able to offer him what you'd assume would be a six figure wage is insane though. I think he'll be a bang average signing for Boro personally. He'll probably pull a hamstring after two games and be out for half the season. And still be paid 100 k a week. The Prem is insane. Utterly insane.
Lesteban Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Scouts in Attendance @scoutsattending 26m26 minutes ago Robin van Persie was at Middlesbrough's training ground on Tuesday #boro This account has been reliable before, but Fenerbache fans seem convinced he was in training in Turkey at the same time he was supposedly in Boro, so seems pretty unlikely he was actually there.
HoustonFox Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 I'd have him with us. Can't teach instinctive finishing. Plus if he scored against Arsenal....
Ross-Kemp Posted 7 July 2016 Posted 7 July 2016 People keep saying he's about dead / injury prone. How many games did he play last season?
TMELcfc Posted 8 July 2016 Posted 8 July 2016 This account has been reliable before, but Fenerbache fans seem convinced he was in training in Turkey at the same time he was supposedly in Boro, so seems pretty unlikely he was actually there. He put a picture on Twitter of him training at Fenerbache yesterday I think...
s11nny Posted 8 July 2016 Posted 8 July 2016 fair few sources/papers online from earlier today reporting he was offered to West Ham and was willing to join and take pay cut but West Ham declined http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-ham-reject-chance-sign-8378247 If his wages are anywhere near the £240K that link suggests than he would be having to take a massive pay cut for us to consider looking into him. Only say that considering we have offered players like Vardy Mahrez and Kante £100K. Nothing in this rumour However, does confirm he's been offered to boro too so surely he may be willing to take a significant cut if there is any truth in these reports
mozartfox Posted 9 July 2016 Posted 9 July 2016 RVP needs to get his Chinese Visa sorted. only they will pay him stupid money.
