Bazly Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Robin Van Persie. Well here is a new name to crop up in the rumour mill. His goal record is fierce with one every two games, but does he still have it? His last season at Man U wasn't overly impressive but he has had a reasonable season in the Turkish league since then. It'd presumably be a bit part role but we don't need many more over 30 players than we already have.
Robin JD Popley Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 For his experience, alone - it seems a no brainer. Some may disagree with me but we need players of his ilk in the Champions League.

Captain... Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 www.footballfancast.com/premier-league/leicester/premier-league-winner-drops-intriguing-leicester-city-hint? Does following JV and RM on twitter constitute a transfer rumour these days?
Babylon Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Tis a bit odd when you look through the list of others he follows.
Babylon Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 I'd takehim But of an odd one, not sure where he'd fit in.
Ric Flair Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 But of an odd one, not sure where he'd fit in. He'd have to play back up to Vardy. I see Musa playing out wide or behind Vardy.
Babylon Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 He'd have to play back up to Vardy. I see Musa playing out wide or behind Vardy. Always had Musa down as being more the Vardy replacement. Could Van Persie will the 10 role, but more technical than Musa, he's all pace... just don't think the 10 role would suit him.
Rusko187 Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 As long as it's not ridiculous wages I see no harm, has CL experience and offers something different to our other strikers.. Does have quality in his game and he's got at least a couple of years left in the tank.
simpmeister Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 http://www.footballfancast.com/premier-league/leicester/premier-league-winner-drops-intriguing-leicester-city-hint Not much in it and more than likely means nothing. But interesting never the less!!
norwichfox Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 I sincerely hope not, his best days are lonhg since gone, as has his appetite for the game and has a poor attitude these days......other than that he's OK
Richmondfox Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Could be useful against teams that put up a brick wall against us where we get a lot of chances but have to be more clinical.
teblin Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Goal scoring record is great. But it's whether he has the legs or desire.
EGBFitness Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Yes Please. Edited by EGBFitness, 04/07/2006, 04.15pm
frany104 Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 dependent on his attitude I would take RVP. Has CL experience and would be a great sub to throw on with 20 minutes to go needing a goal.
Stadt Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Injury prone, not sure how hardworking he'll be either, probably want many dollar too, no thanks
GaelicFox Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Legs are gone , sulker as well Seems a crystal palace player
