crisp packet Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Playing behind vardy ala no 10 ?IF wages and price are right ? Why the hell not??
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Dependent on wages, yes I'd have him. CL experience, goalscorer who is proven at Premier League level. Could be useful for us, in terms of ability and experience.
Steve Earle Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 On a pay as you play with bonuses for goals, why wouldn't we?!?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Given the likely reactions of the Arsenal and Spurs fans to this - I'd be all for this!
ealingfox Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Massive wages, sketchy injury record and if various reports are to be believed he's one of the biggest prats to ever grace a dressing room on these shores. The clubs at the top of the league deemed him no longer good enough and that is what we are now. Can you honestly see him buying into our style of play? Its a no from me.
lgfualol Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Yes I can see him sprinting onto those Drinkwater long balls.
EastAnglianFox Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 If wages were reasonable and he didn't sulk at being a bit part player then absolutely. Massive experience at all levels.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 14 in 29 games is a good return. Would prefer Slimani however. RVP has got a wond of a left foot though! Just checked to see if it was legit & it is. Mahrez followed RVP back but Vards hasn't. Seems strange why he would follow them both unless something quite advanced is happening surely.
filbertstreet Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 rather sign the robin that comes in my garden sometimes
Vindaloo FOX Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 if this is true and we're after RVP then i can see us doing a money + inler deal for RVP . its no secret that Fenerbahçe have showed interest in Inler before. i would like us to go for someone younger but no doubt RVP has plenty of Prem and Champions league experience and this helps but i worry about his injury record . RVP would be a expensive gamble that could turn out to be good like Cambiasso or not so good like Inler.
Dylster Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Would prefer Slimani like others have said. But if we can get him to come without ridiculous wages it would be decent as long as he would only be a bit part player. Would be very strange seeing him in a Leicester shirt though.
escos Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 He is an amazing finisher. Would be a great addition to pass on his knowledge. It's not all going to be quick football every game, we may need somebody with his finishing talent and experience at times. Doubt it's true, but in my opinion it's a no brainer.
Callabinho Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Champions league experience. Experienced head, all of the technical ability in the world. If he comes at a reasonable price and is willing to buy into our ethos than bring it on!
Vindaloo FOX Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Baffled by anyone who wouldn't want him. at first i did not want him because he's known to be pretty injury pron but after seeing he has played 45 games last season i would be happy to take him . i guess he would not play week in week out for us to.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 This is so tenuous I'm not sure it even qualifies as a rumour. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 An interesting option, not sure he'd want to be on the bench but as others have said, massive experience at the highest level and would have a lot to share and pass on to younger players.
VLC86 Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 This is happening, just been driving up sore valley way and saw a Scoda Fabia with the last 3 letters of the reg "RVP" Does he drive a Scoda?
VLC86 Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 This is so tenuous I'm not sure it even qualifies as a rumour. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk i agree Paddy, bit of a poomour really (Poo rumour)
