I'v asked this many times as well.

I think the last time he played up front was for a game in the Championship, at left back he was so hopelessly incompetent it made me cry and we got a glimpse of it in the Charity Shield again, I think he was only on the pitch for about 4 minutes before the right winger found acres of space to cross and drop it on the head of Zlatan to score.

He's a left winger or a desperation punt at full back, you would think he was Luis Enrique the way some people talk.

He's a decent winger but sweet mother of Mary he is a terrible left back. When I think of Jeff at LB i think of that playoff semi against Watford away. He looked like he literally had no idea what he was doing, absolute car crash.

But But he's one of our own lollol

Not contant at taking Schlupp, WBA have apparently offered 21M for Slimani.

After winning the league we can't compete with WBA lollollol

What's to say he will get regular first team football at W.B.A.

As soon as Pulis finds out how inconsistent and unpredictable he is,

i'm sure he will be in and out of the first team there just the same as

he is here!

Personally i'd keep him, I think he makes a good impact sub, and i'm

sure with this seasons extra games he will get some starts.

It's hard to really make that point as he hasnt ever really had a full season in any position, especially LW/ LM

Remember when he went up front last season?

When we played Watford. He was hauled off at half time.

He's Championship level at left back, League One level up front and, at best, lower Premier League level at left wing.

Sorry folks, but 11m? We must be pissing ourselves.

Thanks for everything Jeff. :schlupp:

No, it's not hard to make that point, you don't need to watch him play a full season to

come to that conclusion.

Even at £12m it seems a steal for Pullis and West Brom, this is a Premier League winner who is extremely versatile who probabbly still has his best years ahead of him. If he goes to WB for 12, then yeah; IMO that's the best signing all summer; he will be fantastic there and Pulis knows it.

bit early to be on the pop mate lol

Can someone who thinks he's versatile please name at least 3 games where he's been a decent left back, same applies as striker.

When he comes on as an impact sub he can change the dynamic of a game ...   he's very strong and tackles well, he can run at pace to recover a ball or go on one of his maisy runs that I have seen so many of ...   he may not always have the finished product in terms of pass or cross but the ball quite often ends up flying somewhere and many a time a chance is created for someone else.   If the opposition have someone who is bossing the game he can easily ruffle their feathers ...      Ok he has faults (which are obvious) but like I said he is easily capable of changing a game when he comes on.   I would be sad to see him go and think it would be a backward step for us at this moment in time.

And there is a big reason for that as well.

As much as i love Jeff, If Pullis intends to play him at LB, he'll be dropped pretty quickly.

Absolutely, but I'd still want to keep him .....    the 2 things are not mutually exclusive.

Still in the car park working out which BMW is his hence the delay....

On a serious note he will be a great signing for West Brom. Starting to have doubts on this... if Kaputska is way better then it's a no brainer. Hard to say without seeing Kaputska play for us though.

Jury still out on grey, Could be a great player but at the moment seems a bit lightweight. To the point I think Schlupp might be a little better for how we play right now.

I think Gray is going to be a great player but he's the replacement for Mahrez style. there's no camparison between him and Jeff. Having watched Kapustska play yesterday for the reserves I'd say he has a long way to go before he challenges Jeff's level and again he's a different type of player.

If you haven't seen for yourself then you're not going to accept what we say to you anyway.

It does sound like he doesn't want to leave but he wants to play every game which cannot be gauranteed.  But that cannot be gauranteed at West Brom either so i'd be surprised if this went through.

Jeff is best as an impact player.  If he cant accept that by now then it's best he does leave.

I think most people praising him on here are on about him in a left wing or even a left wing back role. Don't think there's many saying he's an excellent left back because that's simply not true.

looks like we're still a selling club.

So you think selling Schlupp to clear what is reported as a large wage and help fund a better player makes us a selling club lollol Being a selling club would mean we took the Vardy money and openly said make your bids for Mahrez. Ffs Schlupp is hardly first choice. I would be pissed if it was Gray.

lol Even Real Madrid sell their reserves reserves.

Get over it. We're getting 11m for Schlupp which covers the cost of Albrighton, Mahrez, Kapustka and Gray.

It's a deal. It's a steal. It's sale of the facking century.

It's called humour.

There is no reason to sell anyone in this new crazy media money league.

No it doesn't cover the cost of those players.

Still if you're happy with weakening what is already a small squad then good for you.

5m+400k+3m+Wages up to now.... yeah I'd say that 11m probably covers it.

How are we weakening the squad exactly? He's 3rd choice left back, 5th choice left mid and 7th choice striker.

Really so we keep an average player as I said on a reported high wage. Then bring in a better player and fail the ffp. We have to sell some weak links to improve or go backwards.
