N'Golo Kante - Confirmed - £32m to Chelsea

... I have No bad feelings towards the guy; I am sorry he couldn't see fit to thank the Club that gave him the stage to get 'his' dream move, but hey: he doesn't owe anything to the fans as he delivered on the trophy and so if he wants to leave them s'long and good luck with that!

We will move on and so will Kante, the difference for me is we will move on together as a 'family' of Leicester City togetherness whereas he will quickly find himself out there as just another player ... which is a real shame, as he wont find the love that he found at Leicester!

Good luck young man and thanks for the memory of that glorious season

i always said he didnt look as if he fitted in

when celebrating goals he was never really around and also wasnt chatty with other team mates ,i mean look how awkward he looked when he lifted the prem trophy

for me he knew he was on a no brainer , come to leicester and pay in the prem on very very good money but give it everything he has for one season hoping to move on at the end and i think hes known this all along .

win for him and no doubt a massive win for his agent the cnut

for you time at leicester though i thank him for giving everything and will always have the treasured memory of us being premier league champions

for moving to chelsea and not even saying thanks =====words fail me

I thought the same there was a few times when we scored and he didn't really seem to get too envolved in celebrating , there was one time that looked really awkward . And on a lot of the tunnel cams and snap chats he was by himself most of the time when everyone else were in two's or three's

Lived in a rented flat opposite the stadium, hardly lived the footballers life. Guess he was also lonely.

Can't blame him for picking London, 300,000 French live there.

Obviously BS why he picked Chelsea, highest bidder + highest wage, cash in whilst he can.

He won't have a better year

Was always going to go but to Chelsea haha what a shit decision that will turn out to be imo.

If we can keep hold of Marhez then I don't think is as bad as it seems although it may not seem like it but he is replaceable unlike marhez and Vardy where most of goals come from, we have a solid defence and we play as a unit so with Mendy in there we could actually become better.

**** him!

Too long in the tooth to be bitter about it, just slightly sorry that I won't get to see him play for us next season (I only ever thought that was the best we could negotiate).

I was hoping we could keep the team together for a year, give defending the title our best shot, and have a good go at the Champions league with a few stellar additions.

you act like this guy is a social butterfly who has friends. He is not a metropolitan man, he is a deeply religious fanatic who works hard and keeps his head down.

On this day last year some bloke called Nigel got the boot.

THat turned out okay and so will this.  We'll be fine

On this day last year Nigel had already gone, the Preki saga had put this forum on suicide watch and Ranieri had been appointed. But besides that, much as I loved Nigel, there were good alternatives to him available (even if the media had us courting Steve bleeding Cotterill instead) - to Kante? Bigger ask to find one.

It is of course a shame to lose a player of the quality of Kante, but £27m profit in 1 year - he helped you win the league and make the champions league, you surely can't feel dislike for the guy. Player's careers are short, with Chelsea he will be joining a club that should be challenging for the biggest trophies each season.

Players are not supporters, this is his career. £32m wow, add that to the £90m+ prize money, Leicester have the financial resources to buy players of immense proven quality. It's football, don't take it personally that he has left.

Really?

That means that the internet lied to me!

That aside, I remember this forum (myself included) completely lost it's sh1t over NP and with Cambiasso and others in the past.

Bolton forum a bit dead?

whats 27m in today's market when deeney is valued over 25 and ighalo 35 plus, pogba 100 million.

Kante was a steal at that price , he just won the league so im guessing trophy's are not on the forefront of his mind

All this twaddle about him paying for all 4 of the signings is worrying.

We won the league - $$$, champions league - $$$ and new TV deal - $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I seriously hope to see every penny of this transfer spent on not one but 2 micheal keanes.

What is wrong with people?! So much hate

You'd think it was Junior Lewis or Akinbiyi leaving. It's actually disgusting when the guy was getting all the praise just 7 weeks ago. Bought him for a bargain, plays a blinder, helped us win the league - win the ****ing league, not a league cup, the league - leaves us with a £25M profit.

Leicester fans always need a whinge. They call a player Judas whilst being moaning, fickle children. It's a career decision which may be right or may be wrong. Anyone booing him next season needs to do a lot of growing up. It's football and people want him injured or dead. Totally classless.

He hit the jackpot signing for this club

Claudio made him a global star in 12 months

Now he claims to be moving because of the chance to play for an Italian with false teeth , false hair , peck implants and NO history in the premier league

Why can't he just be honest and say it's for an extra 25k a week !

He is no legend so the absolute personification of the disgusting state of football , all business and no soul !

We will be ok !

He will win nothing significant at Chelsea

Your obviously a tigers fan lol

Exactly that, which is why I cannot get on board with anyone who says they'll clap him next year. He has ****ed us over here. Make no mistake about it.

How exactly has he ****ed us over? We won the league and then made an extra £25M on top of it. There are people on here who will applaud Stan Collymore scoring a handful of goals and being a Leicester legend whilst wishing a league winner breaks his leg? Bizarre.
