N'Golo Kante - Confirmed - £32m to Chelsea

He's finally shown his true colours two faced lying cvnt. One f***ing season and I'm sorry but I just don't understand why people still support him after giving himself a good season so he co F*** Off at the earliest convenience. He had that support when he wore a City shirt and to play for us for one season and jump as soon as possible thats where my support vanishes just like his has.

No respect works both ways always has.

I can't understand why he'd join a Chelsea team that aren't guaranteed CL football this year but I can understand why he'd think he'll get into the CL next year anyway what with him playing for them now.  Up to us to have another great season and show him the error of his ways.

The boy did us a great turn last season by turning down Marseille for seemingly 'mid table' us at the time  so this is a real surprise. Good business sense but a bad footballing move. Europe may be a lot harder minus his services now but we'll see....!

TBF, he didn't want to come here in the first place, and it was always suggested that he wanted to leave sooner rather than later. So if that makes him a mercenary or a greedy opportunist, then he's probably the best one any club has ever had. Put in a good shift and more than earned his wages while he was here.

Shame he's gone, and for such a cheap price, but at least he never led us on with platitudes and empty promises.

The moment he holds the Chelsea shirt to the press will confirm football has no loyalty anymore and that money is the real main factor, even forgoeing more chances of trophies in the process.

With a smile on his face to rub salt into our wounds.

Literally hoping and praying with all my heart that this season was a complete one off for him and how good he was, was mainly due to the environment we created and due to our style of play and we'll be sat here come January laughing all the way to the bank.

If there is a god please make this happen.... :(

Looking at everything, it seems to me that the club have yet again produced a wonderfully piece of business. Bring in a player for one year (who clearly doesn't want to play for us), win the league then make a huge profit on him. We have a bigger reputation than before and we have a net transfer spend of 0 so far this window.

We bring Mendy in weeks before he leaves so we don't get held to ransom by Nice, and we have a ready made replacement. Now we have money to spend on 2/3 players and if we tie up Jamie/Riyad on new contracts, I think this may be one of our best transfer windows ever.

I feel confused and Sad. Think this is the most upset I've ever been at the sale of a player. Probably the best player I've seen in a city shirt

Real Madrid, juventus, PSG I could understand. Arsenal or Man city to a certain extent as well.

But a move to Chelsea shows the calibre of the man.

Never wanted to be here but at least he was awsome for us whilst he was. I won't give him a second thought, laters Kante

Hope the splinters from the Chelsea bench go right up his bum hole.

One season wonder.

Knocky was accused of saying the club was a stepping stone to bigger things.

Kante just blatantly did it!

But Chelsea? WTF?

Sorry if this has already been posted:

"Leicester City would like to place on record its sincere thanks to N'Golo for his contribution to the most successful season in the Club's history. Signed from French club Caen in August 2015, he made 40 appearances for City last term, including 37 in the Premier League, while helping steer the Foxes to our first ever top-flight title. His progress with City also helped N'Golo establish himself as a full international with France, with whom he featured prominently at Euro 2016.

"He departs with the best wishes of everyone at Leicester"

Nice touch from the club, shame the player hasn't got the time to even acknowledge the club who gave him everything. I don't agree with his decision to join Chelsea but I understand it, what I can't understand is why you wouldn't say thank you to or even acknowledge the club who made you and the fans who worshipped the ground you walk on. Even those holier than though types must surely agree that that is a pretty shitty way to act.

Wouldn't have been quite so bad if he'd at least taken the time to recognise what LCFC has done for him but he hasn't. Absolute cvnt for doing that in my eyes

Anyone else feel there's more to this? there are ways of leaving but not like this. No message to fans/club? It's almost as if he's stuck two fingers up at us as he's left.

Grow up man. Fake money on the pitch? He hasn't gone for money. If we offered him 100k and he's getting 120k a week with them it sure as hell isn't an extra 20k a week making his mind up.

We could've offered 150k a week he would've gone. He wants the prestige, the CL for the next 5 seasons (likely), the trophies for the next 5 seasons. He obviously didn't see us doing that.

Christ man he isn't a snake, he's doing what he wants. Some people need to give their heads a good wobble

If he wanted champions league then he should have stayed for another year given yknow we're in it and Chelsea aren't. Besides - man utd with mourinho, Liverpool with Klopp, man city with Guardiola, arsenals inability to not miss out, plus us, spurs and west ham starting to ruffle a few feathers - no guarantee Chelsea will get into the CL for 17/18 either. He's not gone to real, barca, atletico, bayern or PSG where he's realistically guaranteed letter stages of CL year in year out, he's bailed out to a rebuilding project in a suddenly very competitive league which may soon face it becoming harder to qualify for the CL (since we kept getting told last season we'd cost the prem it's fourth qualifying spot)

Nah not really, as has been said, he never wanted to come here.

There's only one thing he, and his agent, want - and that's cold hard cash.
