  1. 1. What does the match mean to you?

    • It's a meaningless friendly but a nice day out a Wembley
      96
    • It's not massively important, but it's mostly important as a benchmark for the season ahead
      192
    • It's a huge game, on the same level as say, the League cup final
      96

Download 'Citymapper' - it's superb for the tube in London.

But if not then i would suggest getting the Bakerloo line from Piccadilly Circus to Baker Street. Then change and get the metropolitan line from Baker Street to Wembley Park. Should take 45 minutes or so

For those of you too young to remember back 15/20 years our support at Wembley used to be fantastic.

A huge roar

Balloons, thousands of balloons,

ticker tape, flags,

noise and standing

painted faces and hats

we have history at Wembley

now we're back.

So get shredding your newspapers

go fetch some balloons

and turn Wembley blue

like we did all those years back

roaring on the boys.

See the balloons and flags.

C'mon Leicester.

although i decided i was a bit too old for facepaint/blue hair spray this time around....i'm just off outside to wash the car so I can hang my scarves out the windows on the way down without them getting covered in the layers of crap on it (hasnt been washed for weeks).

Ha ha, yes, I won't be painting my face this time round either. Balloons and tikka tape are a must though.

That's a great read... I was 10 years older than you in 92, but the pain was no less... The following 6 Wembley visits were no less eventful. Hoping for some happy memories tomorrow as I take my son to his first match!
