Finnaldo Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Everyone associated with Man U's face when Musa kicks off next Sunday and runs straight at them

Benji Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Musa, Hernandez, Schlupp and Drinkwater were outstanding. Brilliant second half and a great game to watch. I worry about Mahrez but whatever will be will be, I'm bloody confident for this season after that. Even the swedes started celebrating our goals we were so dangerous second half.

Obviously you want to keep your best players but I think we will be fine still I think Kante is probably the bigger loss out of the two

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 More backtracking on here than the UKIP party on the morning after the referendum!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Not bad at all. Musa looks like a real signing. Both goals excellent - his first goal showcased his outstanding pace, the finish equally as good. The second, another quality finish. Okazaki impressive from what I gather. Sunday will be interesting, and one which I'm actually looking forward to, I'm in anticipation now to see how we play. Hopefully the squad will take pride in their efforts tonight, and take that positivity into Sunday's match.
TrentFox Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Some real positives. We looked extremely undercooked against Celtic. By this evening, it's clear to see how the sports science boys earn their corn. Much sharper. Is it my eyes, or does Jeff look like he's seriously bulked up ?? Schluppp and Amartey looked like beasts. Loved the physicality of the second half. Pace and work-rate of Musa and Vardy up top with a sprinkling of Mahrez' Magic and we are nearly good to go again vs Hull. Still ten days to piece it all together.
AjcW Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Anyone else like me just think that was all completely surreal? I mean I know we've played them before but that felt different, it felt like we were expected to compete against them.. And we did! Ive had a soft spot for Barca as long as ive supported us so that was just a great experience for me and I'm sure a lot of our fans. great stuff, pumped for Wembley on Sunday!!

I'm a huge Huth fan but both him a marcin have tendency to lump it. Can see chillwell and Hernandez being phased in leading up to Xmas
foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Finishing the pre season, despite losing the last two, like we have would have given the players a boost and a realisation that they can impress at the highest level. That is the mindset we need going into the new season, I did not want heavy loses, so that second half was a major boost
stevelcfc Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Mendy started to show a glimpse of the player he may become too.
Babylon Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Nice to see some fluidity and passing second half, Musa is going to give defenders nightmares.
Foxy_jim Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 I'm sorry but to set a precedent he should leave Musa and Okazaki in the team for Sunday and say 'you earned that'
kingfox Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 First half was all about our shite defending & poor finishing. Second half we were fvcking awesome. Hernandez reads the game so well, he was intercepting better than Kante. That was Mendy's best showing and the first time I thought him & Drinky could actually work, as for Drinky that second half was like watching Paul Scholes in his prime. Finally the Okazaki & Musa partnership gave me a boner.

ian_marshall Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 What impressed me most about the second half was our desire to try and get back into the game, particularly against a world class outfit such as Barcelona. Many teams would have viewed that second half as too big a mountain to climb given the opposition and rolled over to take a stuffing, but the boys stuck at it and really were the better team second half and played the Leicester way showing no respect for their opponents. I'm very excited ahead of the new season, and really pleased to see that we're not longer solely dependent on a core of 11 players.
deccers Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Really enjoyed that game. Perfect pre-season fare. Conceding 4 really doesn't bother me when it's barcelona, as it'd probably have been the same if any other big English club went up against them.
Clever Fox Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Really impressed with Amartey, Hernandez and Musa, Even the new polish lad looks quality. I just hope some of them didn't burn up to much energy for Sunday.

EnglishOxide Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 They played like they were all trying to nail a first team spot. I thought Amartey looked real good, he may yet be an adequate upgrade on Simpson. Drinkwater was class too. Musa and Shinji very impressive. Claudio has a big decision to make over his striker selection!
