Looks like someone couldn't let go judging by the mural this morning

(assuming not a photoshop)

Pathetic

To be mildly pissed off is one thing.  I don't feel like that myself, but it's understandable.

To go out in the dead of night with an aerosol is utterly pathetic.

He was an integral part of a title winning team.

Let it go. It makes you look really needy and it drags Leicester down.

What happens when others are sold? We erase their memory as they go?

It's not about them being sold is it, it's about the manner in which they leave.

Kante is a man who had no respect for our club or its fans.

It's been months and the mural still hasn't been protected, this was only a matter of time.

What do you expect 24 hour security.

Already looks like we're missing him. Drinkwater looked like he was playing on his own yesterday, he tried everything. Time will tell but King doesn't offer the energetic box to box performance Kante did. I'd like to see Amartey alongside Drinkwater.

Looks like we miss purely because others aren't the type of player he is...closest we now have is mendy who looked decent last week until he got injured. King is nowhere near the same level and it's hard to judge Amartey as he plays in several positions...

Kante should forever be in our hearts as he was part of our league winning side but he's moved on.

We all need to stop mourning/calling him a judas and just focus on our lads this season!

Need a bloody big Durex for that!

I cannot believe that. Are we that pathetic and bitter. I'd honestly love to meet whoever has done that. They must be so lonely.

It is irrelevant how he left -  he was a massive part of the team that won the league, and I would argue confidently that had he not played, it would not have happened.

shame he's gone as I've said before. But he has and we move on. Only a fool would deface the mural and the same goes for those bitter about him on here. He helped us to a miracle.

It's never time to let go.

Why do you always have to tell me how to handle my emotions?

Kante probably isn't bothered about his mural so why should we be .....   Not condoning what has been done but why not just let nature take its course ....    At the end of the day there's sod all we can do about it anyway.

There is a mural around the corner from Stamford Bridge that paid slightly better.

I just don't understand this view..

He was at the club for a year and in that time he gave his all. He didn't cause any trouble, didn't have an ego and arguably was our most important player. Furthermore, he never insinuated that he was going to stay for a second season. He didn't hold the club to ransom or drag the situation out; he made his mind up and left in the same manner as he did everything whilst at the club - quietly.

He was a key part of our success but he made a decision to move and I don't understand why anyone would wish anything other than good luck.

What a player though, an absolute thoroughbred, the best I have ever seen in a Leicester shirt.

I do not understand peoples problem with him he was not a Leicester lad, he had not come through the academy he did as a child not lay in bed at night in his inner city Paris flat dreaming of playing for the great Leicester City.

He came for money he left for money and in the year in between left us all with the greatest, most unbelievable season we will ever experience.

Players come and go our love for the club remains. I have never been in mourning for his loss just incredibly grateful that we had him for that one history making season.

I entirely agree with most of what you've said, although I think Cambiasso will always be the best player ever to have worn the shirt (well, him and Frank Large, but most of you won't remember him).

When Kanté comes back to City, he should be either ignored or applauded. What he helped us do last season was utterly magic. I think the club might have been a bit quicker off the mark in keeping him here, but that's water under the bridge. We're in the CL thanks in large part to him, and we should always be grateful for that.
