fuchsntf Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 Time to stop mourning. I feel that this forum cant let him go We dont need to replace Kante. We need another player, or players to bring their own successfull style, not clones of.... I hope the manager and players, make their own new story, and not go hunting for excuses. If fans happen to notice, many great successful sides, didnt have a Kante. How many of you have yapped 1 players doesnt make a team. Do the squad a favour, do your future posts a favour, dont doubt new players upon any comparisons. look how Manutd, Arsenal, Chelsea, had their eras of greats but each season moved on. We are tending to forget our own words..."Fearless" being at the forefront. Kante earnt the right to be remembered in our footballing hearts, but dont forget he left us, by forgetting to believing in the continuing story...
Fox 4 Life Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 Haven't thought about this Judas until you just mentioned it, I think most City fans are over it already
AKCJ Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 I think the club expected Amartey to be his replacement but didn't think they'd lose him this summer.
m4DD0gg Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 Fk N'Greedy Kunte, he is the past. He shall forever be in the Judas camp.
boots60 Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 How can he be a fecking judas? If Kante is a judas then what does that make Lineker, Frankie, Shilton, Heskey etc. Club loyalty diassapeared decades ago.
MPH Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 Him leaving has left a bad taste in my mouth for sure - i would of been so much more confident this season with him... But to call him a Judas is just pathetic and shows a sorry individual. He is not soley responsibile for us winning the league but i doubt very much we could of done it without him. How about a bit of gratitude eh? The next time i think about him will be when we play against him...

Our home support is not shy on letting boat jumpers know what they think.

Guest Col city fan Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 Getting over the loss of Kante will be based upon one thing and one thing alone: how well we do without him. If we start off badly, get overrun in the midfield and concede goals, the forum will be full of 'we should never have sold him, Mendy is shite' etc... If we start off well and don't concede goals, he'll be forgotten quickly. Betcha....
foxy boxing Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 He was a great player for us and he has moved on,I have got over it and all foxes fans should

He took money, the others you've mentioned all went on to bigger clubs doing better things. Kante went for the money.
Marmite Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 He got us into the Champions League and had the opportunity to play in it with Leicester a team who he helped get there. I struggle to understand why he would forfeit that achievement and go to a club that is not even going to play in Europe next year. Lets remember that a few years a go he was playing in the 5th tier of French Football. His decision was clearly based on money and him allowing his agent to bully him. I thank him for what he did for us but he didnt give a toss about us, no loyalty in football anymore

The whole world smiles Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 What a player though, an absolute thoroughbred, the best I have ever seen in a Leicester shirt. I do not understand peoples problem with him he was not a Leicester lad, he had not come through the academy he did as a child not lay in bed at night in his inner city Paris flat dreaming of playing for the great Leicester City. He came for money he left for money and in the year in between left us all with the greatest, most unbelievable season we will ever experience. Players come and go our love for the club remains. I have never been in mourning for his loss just incredibly grateful that we had him for that one history making season.
fuchsntf Posted 4 August 2016 Author Posted 4 August 2016 Lets get something right here.... He chose like every single one of you would of done, he moved to what he perceived in securing his future across the board. He never in the season moaned, or became a bad taste diva.He carried out his duties and service to the highest standards...We did not own him.!!! HE wasnt disloyal , he always put in double shifts, for me , on his stay he became a one season legend..!!! Yes we can and will get over him, within the early throws of this coming season. What he gave us, doesnt mean that his way will be so effective in the Chelsea set up. He has to re-prove himself... One THING THAT WOULD EMBARASS OR SHAME ME, is if the Leicester fans abuse him in his return. The class, a n d the right thing to do, would be to give him a standing ovation, with loud applause, and we should all stand with pride when he returns to the KP. He helped to give us the title, that is more worth, than any crettiness, discourteou antics, of any ungrateful morons.. Alan Clarke syndrome it aint, N'golo gave his all in our shirt, hes a fox that just decided to go a wandering. If we dont cut it NOW, it wont be his fault, it would mean we lack and forgot something even more!!

kam6 Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 Was a great player for us, when we thought the world would swallow us up after Cambiasso left. I think that we will deal with it like that, move on, and move forward as a better team. He is a pr*ck for going for the money, no european football, just lots of money. He will have a chance of winning the league there as Chelski will be playing less games then their competitors. I dont wish him the best, just bore off and enjoy your new fleet of cream Mini's
weller54 Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 A World class player, who somehow joined us??.. Won us the PL title (we wouldn't have won it without him). We were never going to keep him...he's gone to a huge club that will challenge for the title / domestic cup competitions and will play CL football next season. As already said, we'd all have made the same decision. .(.O and he's earning loads more money in the process!)
GaelicFox Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 Horrible money grabbing frog ! He will get a right good roasting on his next visit to the KP and deserves it !
HankMarvin Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 he certainly has I've got no regrets over Leicester exit, says Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante N'Golo Kante insists that he has no regrets about leaving Premier League champions Leicester to join Chelsea even though he is missing out on Champions League football this season. The £30m midfielder, who made his Chelsea debut last night in the 3-1 win over AC Milan in Minneapolis, says that although it was hard to leave Leicester last month, he is convinced he will soon be playing at the elite level of European football. Kante said: 'Of course, I have never played in the Champions League. But everyone knows that Chelsea are a big club and I hope I will be playing in it next year 'Playing in the Champions League is a big dream of mine. When you are a player and have a chance to play in it, it's a good thing. But like I said, I hope to play in it next season. 'Chelsea is not a gamble. Because for me it's a new step. To stay in Leicester and play in the Champions League would have been a good step, but joining Chelsea is a good step too.' Kante added defensive stability to the Chelsea team in a 4-1-4-1 formation when he came on in the second half at the US Bank Stadium and said: 'It was my first appearance and I am pleased I won with the team. It was a good game for me and I hope we can continue in this. Terry was full of praise for Kante in the aftermath of Chelsea's 3-1 win over the Serie A side. 'It is a great signing for us and he was incredible last year,' Terry told Goal.com. 'It is great to have him part of our squad and all the new boys we have got are looking good so I am delighted. '[Kante] was very good tonight, he has looked very good in training but he has not been back too long.'
