Guest Mee-9 Posted 27 August 2016 Posted 27 August 2016 Why couldn't they be a bit more inventive and at least drawn a cock on his head?

To go out in the dead of night with an aerosol is utterly pathetic. He was an integral part of a title winning team. Let it go. It makes you look really needy and it drags Leicester down. Not even about Ngolo Kante. its about the bloke who is responsible for that piece of art not having his work ruined. He didn't have to do that, and if I were him I wouldn't fix it either. As clearly the city has proved it does not deserve it. People laughed such as solthewall when certain people posted quite vigorously against the prospect of someone doing something like this. Sadly it seems their faith in our fan base was very much misplaced. If the actions of some of our fans at wembley wasn't enough to confirm that some of our fans are utter gutter trash this certainly does. Talk about one individual all you want, I somewhat doubt this was planned by one person for one persons amusement there will be numerous Leicester fans who played a part and numerous others who will come to know who is responsible and not do anything with that information. Edit: ignore me if this is another photoshop windup I'm on my phone. If so ffs find something better to troll with this is old news.
Dames Posted 27 August 2016 Posted 27 August 2016 Not the worst thing that could have been written in this post brexit world. I fear however if its fixed the next defacement could be a lot lot worse.

But I fear it will be done again Can he fix Schmeichel and Mahrez too, they look rubbish... In all seriousness I wouldn't be upset if Kante was painted over with Ulloa. Yes NG was a big part of our win, but he didn't reciprocate our love in fact he spurned it, despite us bringing the most success he has ever had in his life, so he shouldn't be commemorated in the same way as the others. I don't hate him, and it doesn't change what he achieved with us. I won't boo him, unless he gives it the big 'un, but I'll never understand why he couldn't give us another 5-6 months. If he was not happy in January then go.
Foxxed Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 I doubt we could have won the premiership without him. I will be eternally grateful for that. I'll be glad for the little guy if he wins it again with Chelsea. I'm gutted the world's best defensive midfielder left us after one season. As much as I don't understand why, he must have made the right decision for him. I don't feel betrayed. As much as we loved him, you can't expect him to stay somewhere he obviously prefered not to be. I'll clap for the man who helped us obtain our greatest ever achievement. Then shake my head in bemusement.
MarkDeVirus Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 Proves again why a lot of our fans are just utter morons. Booing a bloke who played a major part in us achieve the absolute impossible?
Blue ROI Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 We've lost one player. He was tremendous in our greatest season of them all but I've learned to live with it. Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid with over 1.5 to 2.5 times our attendance and champions league finalists have lost influential players to bigger clubs. Southampton have lost player after player but they get on with it and keep developing players. Leicester City would still be best described as a medium sized outfit despite the events of last season so we ain't guaranteed to hold players like the yer Chelsea's and Barcelona's. I can remember when Liam Miller left Celtic for Man Utd in 2004 and some Irish based Celtic fans did nothing but moan for ages afterwards. I remember thinking to myself get over it. The same goes for Leicester fans and Kante. The actions regarding the mural is a disgrace. We'll lose some of the goodwill if the fans keep acting like this. When we deem a player not to be up to standard it's tough on that player and no matter how much you appreciate them it's time for everyone to move on. We don't lose much sleep over it. We have to take the rough with the smooth when it comes to transfers.

Blue ROI Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 I'm not comparing Miller to Kante in ability at all but the atttude of our fans to Kante's transfer is similar to that of Celtic's back then. We were going to be under pressure to keep the great trio of 2015/16 stars and we've only lost one. Granted he was an absolute gem last season but it's getting out of hand. I hope we show respect in 3 weeks time for the man and what he achieved with us.
HankMarvin Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Kante the rat Eden Hazard brands new Chelsea team-mate N'Golo Kante 'a rat' for his high work-rate Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante is 'like a rat - he goes everywhere', according to Eden Hazard. Belgium playmaker Hazard has been impressed with the energy and intelligence shown by Kante. France international Kante was a Premier League winner with Leicester City last season before his move to Stamford Bridge. Hazard told Chelsea TV: 'He gives us confidence. We want to try to dribble and to pass the opponent because we know even if we try but don't pass the opponent and if we lose the ball then he is there behind us, he can take the ball. 'He is a fantastic player. He is a like a rat, he goes everywhere and he has a top mentality and is a top guy. 'It is always good to play with the top players.'
Dr The Singh Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 The only thing that pisses me off is the fact that players prices have skyrocketed and we sell him on the cheap!!!
HankMarvin Posted 1 September 2016 Posted 1 September 2016 DOESN'T THIS AMOUNT TO TAPPING UP?? KANTE'S NO WAY JOSE N’Golo Kante has revealed how he snubbed Jose Mourinho’s pleas to join him at Manchester United in favour of Chelsea N’GOLO KANTE has told how he snubbed Jose Mourinho this summer. The Manchester United boss called the France midfielder, 25, trying to persuade him to swap Leicester for Old Trafford. He wanted Kante to be the fulcrum of his new-look side and was willing to pay £25million-plus for him. But despite the personal plea, Kante turned his back on the Special One. And he then revealed he was bowled over by Antonio Conte’s Chelsea project as he agreed his switch to West London. Kante said: “It was amazing to have Mourinho call me, even though I’d been warned before how he would appeal to me. “I listened to his arguments about why I should move to United. “But at that time I was hesitant between staying at Leicester or leaving for Chelsea. “My discussions with them were already well underway. But when I spoke, I had a good feeling with Conte.” That good feeling eventually turned into a £29m deal taking him to Stamford Bridge. It also represented the first win, so far, for Conte over his illustrious Chelsea predecessor. Kante added: “At Chelsea I’m in a star-studded dressing room. “Being the star of the game doesn’t interest me. That’s the highest level, unless you have exceptional qualities. “Yes, I feel I’m a pretty complete player, but I’m not an outstanding player. “Someone like Riyad Mahrez, yes, he has a real technical talent.”
FireFox Posted 1 September 2016 Posted 1 September 2016 United have Europa League football to offer. No one seems to know the details of his release clause. If they could activate it, it'd have been pointless to refuse to give them permission to talk with Kunte.
yorkie1999 Posted 1 September 2016 Posted 1 September 2016 Thought this thread was titled time to let go.

Guest Col city fan Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 I still don't get this 'hatred' towards Kante. He's a brilliant player and was crucial to our biggest ever sporting success. The biggest in betting history. He looks shit hot at Chelsea and will probably help them to a top four finish. He'd done what he felt he wanted to do at City, was a 'model pro' (like Inler apparently) but chose to move on. Big deal.
KFS Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 This little snake doesn't give a monkeys about how he comes across does he? Absolute shit for brains. You stick to reading the game, N'golo, because general intelligence quite clearly isn't your strong point.

zealot Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 Kante is and always will be a Leicester legend first and foremost. This is because of the way he was such a key part of one of the most incredible against-the-odds victories in UK football history. He'll always be associated with us and with the spirit of that team last season. Everyone on here slating him seriously needs to grow a pair! Whining like little children and preaching about loyalty. Get over it! If you read the quote properly there N'golo says Mourinho called him and he turned him down for two options: stay at City or Chelsea. I respect that. I also think he has a phenomenal football brain and questioning his intelligence is embarrassingly childish. Let it go... you morons.

The Guvnor Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 Chelsea now look a different team , Hazard will run riot because having Kante in the team means he doesn't have the same defensive duties. I think Chelsea will win the league and Kante will be a major player. He has gone now but it should have been at least £50 million and that's the bit that sucks.
m4DD0gg Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 Apparently he turned man utd down for chelsea, so thick.
foxy boxing Posted 2 September 2016 Posted 2 September 2016 let him go, let him go yes i know he's gone to soon let him go, let him go at least he's made room for amartey and mendy with them they'll be goals a plenty his tackling never bothered me anyway let it go?
