WinslowFox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 So the story attached to this photo is this: "Super Eagles player, Ahmed Musa, over the weekend reached out to the needy at his home in Jos, Plateau state by sharing raw food items to them." Nice deed for him to be doing but not convinced he should be wearing a Man United shirt, does anyone else feel slightly betrayed and annoyed about this photo?
Swarles Barkley Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 That miss in the community shield. Its all adding up...
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 You wouldn't know he was a footballer from that photo, really does look like he's chucked something on. Nah that doesn't really bother me, it almost seems like he's worn something to fit in rather than because he likes United
FireFox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Man U aren't in the Champions League... what's up with the badge on it?
goose2010 Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Looks like lyon's shorts to? Couldnt nt care less really was he is doing is pretty decent and shouldn't be overlooked
AKCJ Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 He's helping 'needy kids' and you feel 'betrayed' because of the clothes he's wearing? Right.
ALC Fox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 You'd think he'd know better being in the public eye. But, to be fair, it's last season's shirt with Herrera on the back. It could be his if he's a United fan, and if he is, it doesn't bother me. He's a professional who plays for us.
lgfualol Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Half our team probably support Man U and wear their shirts.
Sionnach gorm Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 I suppose that with little else to talk about at the moment this is a good post. Gives us something to do!
Zed4q Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Last season he played against Man Utd for CSKA Moscow and swapped shirts at the end. Im guessing he needed to grab a shirt quickly that was lying around and grabbed that. Nothing in it. Move on.
FireFox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 No one complains about the picture of Mahrez in a Barca shirt.
lifted*fox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Betrayed? Annoyed? Who gives a ****? If you're gonna catch feels about something then there's plenty of more important shit going on in the world...
Kitchandro Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Betrayed isn't the right word but I would go as far to say it's unprofessional. I'm not deluded and thinking all our players support Leicester but Man Utd are rivals in our league. From the club's point of view he's promoted their 'brand' instead of ours. It doesn't make us look very good when our new signing would rather wear one of their shirts. Perhaps he has ambitions to play for them? Maybe he would jump at the chance of signing for them in a year if they made a bid? It's bound to raise some questions even if it means nothing to him. 2 minutes ago, FireFox said: No one complains about the picture of Mahrez in a Barca shirt. Well I think they did, and I should point out they don't play in our league.

Well I think they did, and I should point out they don't play in our league. He's helping starving kids. Give it a rest. It's excellent publicity for us. Do you think that the press will say "United fan Ahmed Musa helps children in need" or "Leicester striker Ahmed Musa helps children in need"?
Finnaldo Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Fvcking hell he's helping less fortunate folks and we're moaning about an old Man U shirt He's been here a few months and growing up in Nigeria it's understandable he'd be a Man U supporter. I bet plenty of our players have old kit and shirts knocking about, Drinkwater I bet has a fair few Man United bits. As long as they put in 100% for Leicester City I don't mind. If you signed for Man City tomorrow, would you completely drop your Leicester links?
Sionnach gorm Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Wow! Pretty harsh group of replies! We need a game soon or people here will tear each other apart!

HoChiMinhFOX Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Looks like it says Herrera on the back, so can assume it was one he got when he played against them. Bit silly reacting to it at all really. If I played for a football team, I'd still be wearing my city shirt...
Alex_LCFC Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 You worry too much and need to get out more. Maybe take a chill pill or four then look at the bigger picture

Bluetintedspecs Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Crime of the century that, he's helping very needy kids.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 I want to know who he's got on the back.
