lgfualol Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 I'm all for sentiment but if we play the same squad where most of them have been shit so far, then I will worry. Fuchs, Morgan, Mahrez, Albrighton and Vardy look exhausted. Problem with Fuchs is we'd be throwing Chilwell right in if he is dropped. I wouldnt be upset to see Wasyl come in for Morgan (who has barely had a rest for 3 seasons), but Ranieri wont drop him.

RowlattsFox Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 I don't think we'll see many changes for this, apart from right back. Any chance of Mendy being fit so Amartey can go to right back? Ranieri is not going to overreact just yet, why do we never move Albrighton over to the right to protect a weak position? I know Mahrez likes coming inside but no harm in freshing it up from the left every now and again. We we need to try 3 man midfield at some point but then who do we have had front 3? Vardy, Slimani and Mahrez has potential but Vardy could spend more time on left wing.
sly1 Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 Omg after watching thst s#!t embarrassing to be champions of England get it sorted&quick or will be quick exit.

Kasper saved us so many times yesterday with 2/3 reflex saves and off his line a couple of times. Aside from one poor throw to Fuchs his distribution was good yesterday. He's prone to the odd error occasionally but he's in the top 2/3 keepers in this league for how good his technique is. Hes ambitious yes and sometimes the ball might go straight out but people are in for a huge shock if he's replaced and we just have a keeper who lumps it as high and long as possible. As I'm sure you know I've been quite a critic of Kasper's but yesterday he kept us in the game by making his body big. Without his saves we would've lost 6 or 7. The last goal was his fault mind, just seemed to lose his head there.
Fox92 Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 Bring Chilwell in. I'd like to see Hernandez too, sadly I think he'll be out of position at full back. Not bothered who's playing in the attacking third. I'd like to see Kapuska and Gray again. I'd argue Albrighton has to start for his defensive duties though. If Musa starts please play him in his position and not wide. Excited for the game though. First time I'm seeing us abroad.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 It'll be interesting to see the lineup for this one. He could stick with most of the team who played against Liverpool, or he could make quite a few changes. I think the lineup for this game could affect the lineup for Burnley at home, for instance if he plays Fuchs against Brugge then I can see Chilwell coming in at left back v Burnley, and if Okazaki starts v Brugge then Slimani might start v Burnley, and if Schmeichel starts against Brugge then Zieler might come in vs Burnley and so on... if you get the jist. I'm not saying those will be the changes, those were just a few examples but this is where depth can be very important. Possible team v Brugge: Zieler Hernandez Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Amartey Albrighton Vardy Okazaki Possible team v Burnley: Schmeichel Hernandez Morgan Huth Chilwell Mahrez Drinkwater King Gray Vardy Slimani

tyfox Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 I'm a bit worried by this game it's not going to be easy. A couple of heads need a wobble or we might really struggle here
st albans fox Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 Going to still be around 80f at kick off so don't expect a high intensity performance from us.
RastaDog Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 No game is easy at this level, it's about performance on the day. We could be shit, we could be brilliant. So could Bruges. The things we do have (still, I hope) is belief, work ethic and team spirit. I believe it'll come together for us and our new signings will show their worth. A thought; whilst we might have been sussed in the PL maybe Bruges will not be quite so prepared. We might find last season's approach working for us. Might.
ealingfox Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 Think we should pull out of the competition after yesterday, we aren't good enough to play in it and we need all our focus to be on our battle to stay up.
RowlattsFox Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 A quick chance to get yesterday out the system or could be another bad result so quickly. Dont nut know what to expect from Brugge, but winning away games is not easy in this competition. Id settle for a dull 0-0 to be honest.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 A draw away from home in Europe would be great.
filbertway Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 We should be looking at a point minimum in this game though three points shouldn't be out of the question. Especially now as we're probably spending close to half a million a week on our starting 11. God knows what team we'll put out but I just hope we don't spend the game looking clueless. A fully committed performance with us actually looking to put some meaningful attacks and pressure on the opposition is what I am expecting.

Who plays RB now that Simmo is nobbled? When does Fuchs get a rest and does that mean we bring Chilwell in? And who would we replace Wes or Huth with, for instance? Wasa? We don't look like a squad going into a Champions League campaign with a view to having a real good crack at it. Apart from up top...we could play one of about 10 strikers. We should still beat Brugge though. I'd reckon they'd be equivalent to a decent Championship side wouldn't they? It is slightly worrying Col I've got to say its plainly obvious we needed a right back centre back and mobile combative midfielder slimani wasn't the answer (hope I'm proved wrong) anyway onwards and upwards let's hope we can beat Brugge a draw wouldn't be disastrous a defeat would be

Gazza M Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 Changes please Claudio after that. Personnel and formation. I would take an away point to start the group off. I have posted one team yesterday on a different thread, but after thinking I would now give a few a kick up the arse after yesterday. Morgan is knackered to start with... Kasper Hernandez Wasyl Huth Albrighton Drinkwater (captain) King Fuchs Kapushka Vardy Slimani Subs: Zieler, Morgan, Chilwell, Mendy, Marhez, Musa, Ulloa

We need to do something to protect our defence, but still be attacking. That team can switch to 4-4-2 if needed mid game. Just think Morgan needs a rest, Marhez needs to get his head together, Kapushka deserves a crack and perfect time to blood our record signing with Vardy to see if they can hit it off.

John Williams Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 Club Brugge vs Leicester. 14 Sep 2016 / 20:45. Hi, in astrology (may work). The Logo/Symbol of the match will be: * Club Brugge: A Group Of Immigrants As They Fulfill The Requirements Of Entrance Into The New Country. = accepting the ways of a new stage of experience = try to cross a threshold and to meet unfamiliar and perhaps shocking experiences. * Leicester City: A Master Performing His Duties = The ability to draw on the power of a tradition in order to serve and inspire one's fellowmen. Good Luck Leicester.
