Ok, so we have played the opening five games with some mixed results. Below are the results of the poll from before the season started, with 50% thinking we will be somewhere between 7th and 10th and less than 4% of fans thinking we will finish lower than 10th. Has your opinion changed having seen how we have started? Are you more pessimistic after the losses against Hull and against Liverpool or are you buoyed by the win in the CL, the 3-0 win against Burnley and the arrival of Slimani?

Make your choices and tell us if you have changed your mind, giving the reasons below.

Really hard to say, I think we will wipe out most of the lower end teams but still unsure in big games. Arsenal we played well and should have won but Liverpool away was a bit of a disaster, however I do think we had one eye on CL and Liverpool were excellent that day so im gonna have to say 5th-6th but still early days

we should be aiming for a top six finish, top four might be asking too much as we have lost two games already when we only lost three all last season

We will finish third and reach 1/2 in CL

And win the FA cup? I hope so.

The top four spot looks like it's available again and if we carry on putting away the poorer teams like we did last season, then we can definitely challenge.

Sticking with 7-10th, but... if Man Utd continue to tank, Arsenal do an Arsenal and Spurs falter a bit, there could still be a place in the top four for a lesser team.  That could be us if we pick up, or Everton if they continue their great start.

Said to my mate today, we've dismissed Swansea, Brugge and Burnley quite easily and beating lesser teams convincingly was the foundation of our success last season. With Slimani, Vardy & Mahrez we're better equipped to beat team no matter what they do.

Defend deep and Mahrez & Slimani can torture them, defend high and Vardy's pace destroys them.

Hull was a disaster but I've been reinvigorated after our performances since then apart from Liverpool.

I think we can challenge for top 4,  but think 7th would be a nice finish,  the bigger teams well get beaten,  utd and Liverpool and ourselves already stung by so called weaker teams if we can repeat last season's results against the bigger teams well do ok,

The top 6 as of now looks like it might be the strongest there has been for a long while. Man Utd is borderline outside of that. Then there's us. I'd be more disappointed with the Hull result more than anything.  That said the knock on effects of last season would have caught up with the team regardless of how good or bad a team they played.

Happy enough* with our start but it gets very tough from here on in. 10 games will be a better indicator. You'd be cautious of course but our graph looks to be rising again and there is grounds for optimism after the last 6 days. Important to fight off a lull from starting.

I said 6th at the start.. After week 5 I'm changing it to 7th.

*I'm basing this on 2014-15 level of expectations but It's great to be looking forward to upcoming games.

As long as we do better than Chelsea did in their defence of the title last season, 10th, I'll be happy.

I've gone 2nd to 4th. We will only get better and still have an amazing team ethic. Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal have still not 'woke up' like they didn't last year all season. It isn't a foregone conclusion that they will. Man City look ominously good though and the individuals in that team look like they all want to play for the new manager. Liverpool look like they could be amazing this season. But then again they are capable of losing to Burnley.

7th we're very, very reliant on Huth, Morgan and Drinkwater staying in top condition and playing a lot of games for us. If we lose one or more of those 3 to a serious injury then we look very lightweight in midfield and at the back. And let's face it we are due at least a few injuries. Optimist aren't I?!

Right now I think 8th. Which would be a fine season. Would really prefer 6th or 7th, but think we'll have our struggles this year. I voted 7th-10th at the start of the season as well.

How do you work 11th?

were are already at 11, and improving every match

We've played Hull,  Swansea and Burnley!.. Think ACON will have a detrimental effect on results during that period.. Mid table is an OK position if we have a good CL campaign.
