Craig Posted 16 December 2016 Posted 16 December 2016 To be fair to them, that 'THERE'S ONLY ONE SISU' was sung after they'd scored a goal helped by the SISU pitch invasion protest. Not sure if they sung it before that though, probably did.
shen Posted 16 December 2016 Posted 16 December 2016 The boy filming that along with his mates must have about 4 IQ between them. Well 'ard.
Corky Posted 16 December 2016 Posted 16 December 2016 Quite a bit of bitterness between the two clubs after last night, some Coventry fans even wanting the FA to fine Sheffield United because of the lack of empathy
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 December 2016 Posted 16 December 2016 I have absolutely no sympathy - remember the video of their fans burning one of our old kits after we went down? "WOY, ATE, LESTOHHHH" Turds

ithuriel Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 Remember one game a few years ago when Sven was here? A few Cov fans had managed to get tickets near the away end and were sussed very quickly, so they were moved to the away end and the Cov muppets already in the away end started to fight them, one being knocked out. I've seen a few things over the years but the away support fighting each other was just, bewildering. Even though they took inbreeding to Millwall levels it is still sad to see a football club spiraling ever downwards to who knows where?
Finnaldo Posted 19 December 2016 Posted 19 December 2016 Do I want Cov to go out of business? No. Why? Because seeing them grubbing out a mid-table finish in League Two would be a sweet little side garnish to a quality few years at Filbert Way. The city of Cov is as grim as the specimens showcased in that video and being from Earl Shilton in such close proximity to it makes me feel slightly sick.

Personally can't see it as they would be a lot of work required, it's about the same distance as Highfield Rd was from the city. Butts Park is nearer to the city centre, and it's walking distance from Tile Hill- the Saff of Coventry. Could be a very good option. I work in Coventry and it's a shame to see so many have given up on them.

I, like many on here, am generally unconcerned about what happens to CCFC. however, I know Russ from many years since. He's a decent bloke, and will give 'his all' to the job. Whether that'll be enough to revive the basket case that is currently the Sky Blues though.......!! He's had 3 jobs in 12 months. Not sure if that says more about him or Coventry. Possibly both? He's always been about but never really took any notice of whether he's a decent manager or not.
purpleronnie Posted 21 December 2016 Posted 21 December 2016 Quote Slade appointed as their new manager. Look to the future Coventry, it's only just begun.

It's a decent location, just the car park is tiny and there's no real 'set-up' there other than a club-house. Would be a huge amount of work required in such a small space.
Voll Blau Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 Fan ownership on the cards. Good luck to them. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/fan-ownership-rotting-coventry-city-12491877

SISU seem pretty happy draining the club dry and they have already dismissed any talks about a supporter led takeover.

Nice to see it's being discussed though, it's not something most sets of fans even think about when their club's going down the pan.
Fox92 Posted 23 January 2017 Posted 23 January 2017 I hope so. Poor bastards. A club like Coventry City bottom of the third tier. Sad.

Ted Maul Posted 24 January 2017 Posted 24 January 2017 Really does look grim for them at the moment. Bottom of the third tier, terrible owners suffocating the club, playing at an empty ground which has been handed over to a rugby franchise, and a poisonous atmosphere which won't do their chances of survival any good. I think it's getting to the point where it's no longer that funny- rivalries are boring when the other team's fans are feeling too sorry for themselves to dish out any banter, or have just disappeared from the face of the earth completely.
