Give kapuska a run out. What's the worst that can happen. We need to change something. Can't keep turning the same group of under performing players out week in week out

More of the same, playing wise I see. Our main playmakers in Morgan and Huth will start and we'll have a grand total of a shot on goal. Might scrape a win if we're lucky.

I think this would be ok

                      Zieler

Simpson Someone Hernandez Fuchs

Mahrez Drinkwater King Musa

                  Gray Slimani

Stop passing to Simpson, Morgan, Huth and we'll actually keep the ball. No more Drinkwater->Simpson->opponent or Drinkwater->Fuchs->opponent or Huth->Opponent please.

Attack the bastards WITH THE BALL ON THE FLOOR. If you're reading this Morgan, and you just choked on your burger because you have never even thought of a passing along the floor, it's possible, also helps if the player you're passing to is unmarked and wearing blue.

might be an idea to get your midfielder to stop passing backwards to his, our midfield is crap most weeks and all we do is swap between King and Amartey, it's time for that to stop and maybe consider that Drinkwater could be the problem, he's so deep he's practically a 3rd CB hitting 60 yard balls to no one all too often and maybe, just maybe King/Amartey might provide a better balance, we've tried the other options we have and its not working.

Simpson Hernandez Huth Fuchs

Probably win this. Hopefully Copenhagen see off Porto too and we can be done until next year  (plus I've put money on Copenhagen qualifying)!

rotate so some of our players are fresh for Boro

We don't have any players that deserve to be rested, only dropped. XI spots up for grabs at the weekend as far as I'm concerned. None of them should be entitled to a starting spot on Saturday.

£60m for making last 16

should mean that when we get relegated we can freeze season ticket prices :ph34r:

People will still buy season tickets?

The form we are in it would not even surprise me if we lose our last two champions league games.

in fact I think Porto will spank us at there place.

I can understand that he may not have adapted to the premier league but what is the excuse for him not being included for the champions league?

He's used to the European style of play so hopefully he gets a chance soon.

Brugge are a mid table Championship standard team. We should beat them, even on our current poor run of form.

WBA, Watford mid table Premiership Teams, we should be beating them as well.

Brugge will see this a their Cup Final. They'll also be rubbing their hands at the prospect of beating the Champions of England.

On current form, let's not count our chickens before they hatch.

Be Professional, show some passion, put defence first, then attack, attack, attack.

I want to stop being miserable on Sunday mornings............................ Roll on Smiley Face Wednesday :fc:

Brugges = equivalent to Scunthorpe?

Copenhagen = Forest?

Porto = Hull?

....winning our group at the cost of our PL form (possibly status)..

Priorities have been lost!

You missed the post above re the 60m. The management clearly see no issue re retaining PL status.

got to hope the players get their heads around the PL situation bloody soon. They may be kidding themselves that once CL qualification is done they can just pick up the baton - their lack of confidence on weekend games says something else.

Once we're out of the CL (last 16 round )...all the players will have to 'look forward to' is a relegation dogfight.. try picking up the baton and raising their confidence then!!

If we make last 16 and get 60 million, spend every single pound to stay up in the Prem.

Spend every single pound on a brick wall defence, not the colander we have at the moment!

Personally I just hope this isn't our Wycombe.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO- why did you have to go and bring that up! I was feeling all confident and happy. Now I remember sitting g in SK1 (I asked my uncle for a noisy seat) nearly balled my eyes out with a broken pair of glasses on the floor!

Am I really reading posts on here that say that people do not care about this game anymore? Seriously? A chance to put us into the last 16 of the Champions League? Baby > Bathwater > Out! ffs. We do not have to punish ourselves and the team in one competition because we are under-performing in another. Let us hope that we do well in this and then ALSO turn it around in the other! It would be a great achievement to qualify for the last 16. So (my ridiculously 'principled' babies), climb back into your prams - take hold of your toys and hold them tight, and make as much noise as you can on Tuesday night. Let us hope that what you are 'pretending' to hope for (because I cannot honestly believe that any Leicester City fan really wants us to exit this competition) doesn't happen and that we can use qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League to improve our league form. Jaysus!

That's the thing Col isn't it, with our disgraceful league form it really does take the shine off doing well in Europe

the league is our bread and butter and we need to get back to winning ways in the league sooner rather than later

as for this game a scruffy 1-0 win will do

Let's be honest, I doubt we'll be in the Premier League again. The Champions League happens every year so I'd bin off the Brugge match and focus solely on the league as I doubt we'll have a better chance to stay up.
