I'd put him ahead of Huth, I genuinely can't remember a game where Huth has played well for a long while now. I agree. Used to be a cool head but he looks a bit rattled at the moment and surprised he hasn't been sent off yet.
foxy boxing Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 we just need to win this, we were the much better team away against them and they are the whipping boys of the group so we just need to be efficient and workmanlike. let's hope Copenhagen do us a favour against Porto.to get to the knockout stages would be a huge achievement for us and one which will live long in the memory

Fox92 Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 Slimani, Chilwell, Mendy all out. Gray was late for training but did train.

lnkstern Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 For the US Foxes supporters -- we have discovered the downside of a (relatively) easy CL group. It means we don't get to see the matches live! (or in some cases, at all, at least in english) TV listings show that the only broadcast of tomorrow's Leicester v Brugge will be Thursday, 11 AM (MT) on Fox Deportes (spanish channel).

I'd rather Ulloa start than Vardy right now, with Vardy it is hoof hoof hoof half-effort to chase hoof hoof hoof. Musa may not be any better but he was decent with Okazaki in pre-season and I am clutching at straws. Zieler Simpson Morgan Hernandez Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater King Gray Okazaki Musa Subs: Bramley, Huth, Amartey, Ulloa, Vardy, Kapustka, Schlupp
Monk Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 The injury situation is getting increasingly worrying. I would expect the same lineup as the Copenhagen game with the exception of Slimani who should be switched for Shinji or even Leo.

Mendy won't be there until next year I'm afraid but hopefully Slim will be fit for Boro. I wouldn't worry that much for the game against Brugge. It might be a good chance for the ones who didn't get much game time.

Wymsey Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 Rest Morgan/Huth and replace with Hernandez, the former looks tired at the moment. Would also give Wasyl a go against these, they're hardly going to go past the midfield and bomb down the wings at every opportunity.
fazzyfox Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 The groundsmen have been busy again, under Claudio's instruction the pitch has a new pattern for the benefit of Vardy

NewEnglandFox Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 Mahrez has managed to convince himself that there is an invisible wall around the 18 yard box. No matters how many times he tries to do the same move to cut across the top of the 18 to get the ball on his left foot, he just can't manage to get the ball over that little white line. It's really simple, defenders are happy to let Mahrez run around all he wants 25-30 yards out, he's going to run up to the 18 yard box eventually where 1 of the 3 defenders waiting for him to cut inside will nip the ball away. I don't understand why we have to watch him try and fail to do the same move a million times. He's making the same mistake in every game. So now, as we're playing Brugge, we're supposed to give him another chance to refind his magic? We can't stop babying our under performing players.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 We surely have to win this, we surely have to score at least 2. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Claudio goes for the 0-0 to progress
Cropwellfox Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 Fans need something to get excited about, give the atmosphere a push early on, reignite the season. A chance to put us into the last 16 of the Champions League? Baby > Bathwater > Out! ffs. We do not have to punish ourselves and the team in one competition because we are under-performing in another. Let us hope that we do well in this and then ALSO turn it around in the other! It would be a great achievement to qualify for the last 16. So (my ridiculously 'principled' babies), climb back into your prams - take hold of your toys and hold them tight, and make as much noise as you can on Tuesday night. Let us hope that what you are 'pretending' to hope for (because I cannot honestly believe that any Leicester City fan really wants us to exit this competition) doesn't happen and that we can use qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League to improve our league form. Jaysus! This.
