Matt_Lcfc Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 Don't know if this has been mentioned but Sunderland away tickets are on Golden Membership sale. This should probably be on the "ticket news and travel thread" but the point is are people already losing interest?
Fox92 Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 More of the fact we've got Porto that week. Sunderland will still sell out.
davieG Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 Nothing new there attendances always have fluctuated based on whether we're winning or losing people don't want to fork out £30+ when the prospect of a win are low and performances are crap
Dr The Singh Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 I hope so, I might be able to get tickets
kyleolly Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 I had to choose between going to Sunderland on the Saturday or spending a week in Portugal it was a tough call
Fox92 Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 Annoyed me so much yesterday again that only a couple of players even acknowledged us. Poor performance again and they're quick to run off and hide.
Voll Blau Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 As others have said, a lot having to cut down on domestic aways to fund Europe. Sad fact of life that it's a straight choice for most people.
foxile5 Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 Of course there is going to be plenty of people knocking it on the head. Remember the chap that was interviewed last season and said he was a Liverpool fan before last season.... You think he's going to come down now we're shit again?
Guest Mee-9 Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 Love it. These plastics go back to supporting Man City and Chelsea because we go crap, then we can get tickets again. Fantastic.
Matt Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 When the management/players are treating pre-CL games the way they are why should the fans be bothered with a long journey to watch a game they don't seem bothered about. That said I think there are a few losing interest, which proves a point about the plastics arguments we've had, but also doesn't bother me as it gives people who have been there through thick and thin chances to get tickets, people losing interest is good and bad both at the same time.

Considering how much some of the players are on you would think that they would come over to spend 30-40 seconds acknowledging the fans that earn considerably less yet still spend hundreds of pounds every week travelling up and down the country to watch some dismal displays (especially this season).
weller54 Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 I'm sure fans are getting very excited to watch us get thumped again!!... They're playing well now and we won't be able to contain Defoe!
Ted Maul Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 It's a long trip, we're playing badly and plenty of the regulars will be going to Portugal that week. It was never going to sell out on priority 2. We take decent numbers away these days regardless of our situation, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Foxes1 Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 I won't be going Sunderland due to other commitments and it will be the first I have missed this season but will still be going to others no matter where we are in the league.

The Horse's Mouth Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 a long trip and we're shit, doesn't take a rocket scientist to work that out. Our attendances wont be that bad, they were consistently good during our return when we were catpiss for the large majority of it

They were down the tunnel without even a glance apart from schmeichel.
Monsell1976 Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 I'm a season ticket holder, and go away nearly every game, but Watford was the straw that broke the camels back for me. To these players that are massively under performing, the £120 it cost me to take my lad ( all in, travel, tickets, drinks etc) to away games, is nothing, but to me on a pension, it's a lot. I go win, lose, or draw, but the lack of any sort of game plan, no effort, no idea, and not looking like getting anything, I don't enjoy it at present. The losing pisses me off, but when you get beat by a better team, you take it for what it is, a day out, and enjoyable football, but how the **** is it enjoyable watching us play at present, and how can I justify the expense and effort, when the players roll over every away game, and lack the effort.
Shaggy Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 The most direct answer to that is,they don't give a toss how much it costs you
fazzyfox Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 Never mind getting priority for tickets, I hear they're having a sweepstake of all season ticket holders and members for a chance to play in midfield alongside Drinky.

Laughing all the way to the bank, and they certainly don't care how much it cost us, if they can't be arsed to put the effort in, neither can I be arsed to follow them away.

As for interest dwindling? Inevitable, playing shit plus long distance plus Porto that week.
