You obviously did'nt watch the Everton game then eh ?

His point being why would he replace them after those two results. Just like Drinkwater didn't. And he's been out injured all year, people don't just get thrown straight back in.

But that's too logical and simple, and doesn't make it into an argument

So is he going to throw the new boy Ndidi in then ?  Mendy was on the bench so if they were not thinking of using him why on the bench ?

Maybe, because he's not been out injured for about 4 months.

You pick 7 subs and can only make three changes. Just because he didn't get on doesn't mean they don't think he's capable. He's returning from an injury that's had plenty of complications, they will take their time.

Exactly. Against Porto it was the first time in 4months that he managed to play. People already jumping on his back.

I see that Nzonzi guy from Seville who we were apparently going to blow £25 million + on in the summer is now linked with a move to Man City, Chelsea and Juventus. Also that Keane fella from Burnley who we were going to pay way over the odds for in the region of 15-20 Million for is linked with a move to Man Utd for more. With the best will in the world we will struggle to bring in every 1st choice target but it still shows we seem to have a better idea than most with scouting players

Not a chance we will get N'Zonzi. He would have been an excellent signing in the summer .

Yes long gone but clearly shows we have half an idea of what we need. We seem to be able to attract the likes of Messi,Bale and Ronaldo on Football Manager 2017 or whatever these games are called yet for reasons some fail to grasp are unable to attract them in real life, that Rudkin bloke has a lot to answer for.

The fact we didn't go for Idrissa Gana Gueye is embarrassing. Perfect replacement for kante.

The kid is just 19. Her is not going to be the answer to our midfield problems. He has no experience at this level and plays for a struggling club in the Belgian league.

Last few players Genk have sold to Premier League clubs at a young age with no experience of this league.

Thibaut Courtois

Christian Benteke

Kevin De Bruyne

Divock Origi and Yannick Carrasco (Ath. Madrid) also started out at Genk. And they flogged Koulibaly to Napoli who apparently turned down £58m from Chelsea for him in August.

A reasonable record of churning out players who are going on to make it in some decent leagues I'd say.
