Micky Posted 24 December 2016 Posted 24 December 2016 Kristof Terreur @HLNinEngeland Wilfred Ndidi runs, runs and keeps on running. Always had top results during his medicals at Genk. #LCFC
Micky Posted 24 December 2016 Posted 24 December 2016 Dec 1Kristof Terreur @HLNinEngeland Leicester scouted a lot in Belgium last year. They watched Matz Sels, Dennis Praet, Wilfred Ndidi and a few others... #lcfc

Micky Posted 24 December 2016 Posted 24 December 2016 I haved watched alot of him over the past few weeks and he is nowhere near Kante level yet.

I think we need to realise Kante was a one off. He's possibly the best player in the world currently in his position. Said it when he was at Leicester and he's proving it once again this season. I think we'll see a different Chelsea without him in the side on Boxing Day, it'll be interesting to see how they get on.

Nigeria haven't qualified for the African Nations Cup Finals this year. Algeria and Ghana have - and that will affect us - but not Nigeria. So we will have the 'joy' of Musa being available - as well as Ndidi (if he comes).

Can you tell me what Group you think they're in and who they are playing ?! PS It is the January 2017 Finals we're talking about isn't it ?!

They got directly into the elimination phase. That's why they are such strong favourites to win.
Bunyip Posted 24 December 2016 Posted 24 December 2016 Thank goodness for that. I've bought tickets an all.

desertfox2 Posted 24 December 2016 Posted 24 December 2016 One thing that's slightly troubling me is if Ndidi and Bailey are as good as they look and they do look quality then why are Genk 9th in the belgian league? Has anyone been watching any of their games? Is the rest of the team s"@t or something?
sylofox Posted 24 December 2016 Posted 24 December 2016 I got them at 40/1 ty to win it and15/1 to top group z. They fvcking better be init.

That's why they are such strong favourites to win. I just can't see them mentioned anywhere. I've checked what you call , "the elimination phase" (Wikipedia call it the 'Knockout phase') - and the only teams that go into it are the respective Group winners and runners up - AND NIGERIA ARE NOT IN THE GROUP PHASE. Wikipedia clearly says, "Nigeria did not qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations - despite being 3 times winners". Where do you get the information that they're playing ??!! Oddschecker and Nicer Odds don't mention them as being available for betting - and list Ivory Coast as clear favourites (10/3). PS Oh I get it now, this is just one big wind up (Group Z and all that !) - but I just don't understand how it ever started - and why so many FT posters are still doing it ! It's not April 1st is it ? Explain ?!
