Sakho. Liverpool will sell this january. Don't know his wage though.

Not a good idea only two players would be to blame when we lose.

Everyone saying " Fuchs Sakho"

The simple answer is yes we really do. We need at least two central defenders because now Huth and Morgan are becoming for some reason liabilities who cannot be fully trusted in central defence. We need a holding midfielder that is obvious because Amartey at this stage simply is not good enough. We have enough wide and offensive players and we really should have got some quality defenders in and a right back that can challenge Simpson and a decent back up keeper to Kasper. These things are obvious to everyone so why didn't Claudio and the recruitment do more to find these players instead of buying so many wide players and another forward.

Van Dijk. Diafra Sakho maybe? That huge Sunderland midfielder yesterday?

Trouble is no premier league club is going to sell a proven member of their team to us. Someone from their squad perhaps, but if they're not good enough to play for a competitor's first team right now will they really help is that much?

i don't think this transfer lark is as straightforward as some might presume

Will Ndidi just be another expensive foreign youngster in the mould of Kramaric,  Kapustka,  Amartey, Mendy etc?...... The jam tomorrow brigade!!

Yes. We can't afford to sign players who will hit the ground running. They'd make the rest of our team look bad. Jam tomorrow is much underrated in the whole scheme of things. What happens when tomorrow arrives and we have no jam? We'd have a choice between marmalade and Schlupp. It's unthinkable.

No chance whatsoever of Van Dijk coming to us unfortunately.

Problem is we really need to buy British in my opinion. We can't afford to wait for players to sort out their personal lives and acclimitise to a new division and country, we just haven't the time. We need players who are good to go now and are proven and experienced.

I know its a sellers market in January and I know transfer fees are inflated but can we really afford to take a risk and not soend the money. For arguments sake would it not be worth it to spend 60 million on 3 top quality players in January and stay up? The money on offer for staying in the Premier League says it is.

Asambalonga and Lansbury?

Rather than spending £15M+ on unproven gambles such as Ndidi.. do we need experienced PL players such as Robbie Brady?..

Nah, let's wait for them to be ready about August next year.

With how tight the league is becoming ill massively doubt we'll see a player move PL club - if so it will be some ridiculous fee.

If we want a player with PL experience but not playing currently for a prem team will be hard to find... Barton and Balotelli anyone?

Would try get some prem players on loan. Think Ndidi would be ready to play straight the way though.

Any prem CBs that aren't needed at their club? I'd take anyone

Zouma should be back from injury, loan?

Phil jones is also back to fitness about now?

Does it really matter who he signs, he'll just pick the same bloody starting 11 and formation as usual anyway!! And when the media asks him where his new players are he'll go and tell us all 'there not ready' 'need to adapt' etc etc etc

actually it doesn't matter who u bring in 2 star players or 2 mediocre players... i think fundamentally the way we play is crooked.

So, the 2 signings will get 'crooked' too ..because the system we play/modus operandi will render them ineffective & unproductive.. then they'll lose interest

Felt Shane Long should've been signed in the summer. He'd have suited well to our style.

i can tell u that style (unattractive as it may be) has evaporated... we now have NO STYLE
