Yes but lets not big players up, I rated him last season, but this season he is over worked and looks tired.

Im not saying he is not a great player because he is, I just think he is over tired this season and I can't understand why nobody else can see it

I think the rest will do him good, but silly mistakes, he has made a few of them this season

Can't name another player who has been responsible for 3 goals in 3 games?

Perhaps most of us can see he is overworked and can accept he will make some mistakes.

So the poor performers have had it rough with the new players. Now we are starting on the better players. Only the average ones to go. Or we could cut corners and say the manager and whole squad are shite.

Unsure if you are trying to reel us all in with your comments about Drinkwater.

You state earlier that we play better without him, so his time may be up with us. Then you tell us you think he's over worked (which i tend to agree with)? So which is it?

He has been one of the bright sparks this season. He has carried the midfield at times with very little support. Should we find him a suitable partner then he will be back to his best.

Very easy to pick out his few mistakes but lets not forget all the good he does.

But he considers it a challenge to the whole human race, I don't think he'll lose.

They had no faith in him and released him so I'm hoping he'll tell them to Fook off if he wasn't good enough for them then then they can go and fookin do one !!

Is it still the same people in charge of making those decisions?

Its his team. Imagine LCFC binning you and then coming back in years later. You going to tell them to 'do one' or want to talk?

To right St Albans. That and he gets to laugh at the fvck up they made. Another huge fvck up 89m on Pogba 40 + m on drinky.

Takes the shine PFF what Ferggie did a little.

If Man U came in with a serious offer then you cant see anything other than Drinky going. I bet he would love to go back and prove they were wrong to let him go. Man U fans were gutted when he left so they would welcome him with open arms.

Cash and Schneiderlin and that is a deal worth considering. He was brilliant at Southampton and if we can get him playing like he did at Saints we would have a very good midfielder in straight away.

Also it would guarantee him his England place.

January is going to be a horrible month i can see it now. Hope he stays but lets see what happens

I have a feeling that the interest is coming from Jose's comment regarding wanting Drinky prior to our game against them, which, to my mind, was one of Joses mind games to unsettle us....bloody worked didn't it.

Are people genuinely calling out Drinkwater for his performances this season lollollollol, along with kasper and Simpson I'd say they're the only players that have performed on a consistent basis this season, maybe Fuchs could slip in to that bracket as well although he's looked quite sluggish at times

The question is, could he handle the "big club" atmosphere?. because the way I see it, he is not a better box to box mid than herera and is not a better anchor than schneiderlin and  Not a better passer than Carrick. He is like a schweinsteiger-lite  ( and Bastian can't even make decent minutes for the first team). The Drinkwater type playes are the ones to take all the blame because they are not masters of one thing. They are just a "jack of all trades". And you can't defend Someone if you can't point out his strongest attribute. And I think he would be eaten alive by the media. He is just not good enough for the highest level. And that's why it was kantè who was taken by the big teams because every one could look at him and say "he is the real deal"

Slow comeback from injury leading to questions whether he's been tapped up and is protecting himself. Something has clearly turned his head.

Can't see us letting him go while we're still in the CL.

Can't see him wanting to leave while we're still in the CL. He should stick it til the end of the season and if Utd are serious in the summer he should run a mile. Far too good to be here unfortunately

He will go if United come in, of course he would childhood club....probably wouldn't even think twice about it either.

He would go,but is he really good enough for a team that wants to become a European contender?

Might get in short term, but i cant see him making a massive difference in the long run

I can see him making a difference. Better quality players around him will improve him. He won't be trying to put in a shift for two or even three in some games. He won't be the centre of attention for other teams in midfield.

If he goes whatever they pay for him will look like a bargain after a dozen games.

No Amartey to carry him at united TBF

United look to have sorted themselves out now. 5 wins on the bounce and a more settled lineup. Would be surprised if they came in to be honest. He would also cost an arm and a leg being English

This is the club that sold Pogba for 860k then paid 90m to get him back. Money is no problem to them.

Not good enough currently for Utd. On his day he is but not sure any of the top 5/6 need him, especially given his likely price.

If these stories have any truth in them he will unfortunightly want to leave us and go and play for Man Utd, he never wanted to leave them in the first place!

Supported them as a boy and always dreamed of playing for there first team. Would be almost impossible to replace him.
