Select opponent from League tie before or after FA Cup fixture. Draw them at home vs Leicester Appoint Bobby Madley as ref. Was only just thinking, they could draw the refs at the same time to add to the drama. I'd be less bothered about who we're playing than whether we've avoided Madley, Attwell, Atkinson and Moss!

crazyleicester Posted 7 January 2017 Posted 7 January 2017 Home to Sutton or Wimbledon. Either that or home to some other shite. Id like us to have the chance to see Benni, Kapustka and other fringe players to get a game and protect the first team. If we still have superkid academy players Max Gradel and Alan Sheehan, Id play them as well
MC Prussian Posted 7 January 2017 Posted 7 January 2017 Lincoln away. Oxford United away. Sutton United/Wimbledon at home. How about Wycombe away in order to get past the Roy Essandoh ghosts haunting us since that game in 2001? Or Bristol City away to finally put the Nicky Maynard saga to rest.

Not one of those sounds remotely interesting.
Dan Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 I swear to god if we get Spurs I'm done with football and life in general

Dan Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 Take Hull over any of the top six. Avoid any of the top six, and the likes of Southampton away and I'll be chuffed. Brentford away is the dream.
Koke Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 Whoever we face I hope we play a strong side. We fielded a weak side in the League Cup a few years ago at home against Shrewsbury and lost. And I think I'm right in saying we also lost to Burton at home as well the year before. I wanna win this damn cup.

Did you not take some comfort when ssl scored a late winner v Wycombe in the league cup
Tuna Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 We've drawn premier league the last 6 times in the FA Cup. Everton, Spurs, Villa, Spurs again, Newcastle and Stoke. Anything other than Premier League please !!!
onekeithweller Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 It won't be Man. U. The new rules state that they can't draw a Premiership team until the quarter finals; their last seven ties in the 3rd 4th and 5th rounds have been: Yeovil, Cambridge, Preston, Sheff. U., Derby, Shrewsbury and Reading. I think it's been decided that they play Oxford in the next round.
RowlattsFox Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 Blackburn would be great for selfish reasons, huge allocation and easy for me to get to. Same goes for Wigan and Bolton if they get through. Blackpool or fleetwood would be good too if either can make it through.
Raj Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 Someone crap at home so I can take my daughter as she wants to show off her new city top!!!
Guest Danny Clender Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 Derby Away, has to be. No doubt will be Man U.

How about us looking for an emergency trialist by Ceefax? I take it you don't want to face them at all?
The Doctor Posted 8 January 2017 Posted 8 January 2017 Rochdale at home simply for Conrad Logan's return, and it being a new team.
