Can't see where he fits in but fingers crossed he keeps us up.

How about a CB now please?!

Can't see where he fits in? Really?

He's. An. Attacking. Midfielder. !

Something that we don't have in our squad

thats what I'd go with.

               Slimani/Vardy

Gray         Ramirez           mahrez

          Drinky     n didi

Chilwell   new cb  huth/Morgan   Simpson

             Kasper

I think this team would keep us up but it's not looking like we are going to sign a new cb unfortunately

Snodgrass looking like he will be going to West Ham so perhaps that has elicited the transfer request cos the bojan move has gone quiet

if they aren't getting anyone in then we arent getting him

boro won't risk their prem status by selling him

Boro will go down if they sell him. They don't score enough goals, he's their only creative spark.

I can't imagine Bournemouth can offer the same wages that we can, I think that's what it will come down too.

beside the "poor little Bournemouth club" the media and perhaps the club would have you believe they are actually very wealthy and often pay silly wages or silly fees to convince a player to go there

I put in Albrighton to offer balance. I doubt we will see Gray and Mahrez on either flank as none of them track back.

Didn't Matt Richtie leave them to play for Newcastle because they offered him more money? He was one of their best players.

I know the 'little borunemoth is false' as they spent like £20m last winterlol but I still doubt they can offer the same wages, FFP and all that.

agreed unless they get someone in and beginning to wonder exactly who would want to go there. It's not the nicest part of the country for a wealthy young footballer to live and they could well be in a relegation scrap for the next three months (as could we )

at first, the bojan deal looked like it had been set up but the fact it hasn't gone through says it all really.

if snodgrass snubs them then not sure who they can attract to play that role for them.

we may may end up without him until the summer (if we still want him then)

True but, Gray offers pace and looks the only threatening player at the moment. Although his end product needs a lot of work he really scares defenders when he runs at them. Albrighton is good defensively but we need our 'attacking players' to be more creative and threatening and he just hasn't done that much this season apart from a few crosses for slimani. I guess if you have slimani up front then Albrighton is your man but with vardy up front I'd go with gray

Dont understand how people don't get this transfer. As long as he is played behind the striker, we're upgrading big time on Okazaki, who let's be honest, has fallen over more times than he has completed a pass in a Leicester shirt.

Where does he fit into a 442?

I don't watch enough Boro to say for sure, but couldn't he slot into an Shinzi role behind either Vards or Slim?

I think that's the idea. Offers more craft that Okazaki but isn't a slacker either

Stoke want a permanent deal but Bojan wants a loan due to their league position & Snodgrass will most likely go to West Ham.

Give over mate he was phenomenal last season. Struggling this season I'll give you that but then who isn't.

hmmm hard to debate that though, although in different leagues Table wise, they are miles apart in stature, newcastle although below bournemouth at the min, have a massive support base, a massive stadium, manager with a bigger rep than he deserves and also would be likely to return to Pl this season and be giving assurances to new signings about the future which in turn can promote aspirations to a player if he feels "wanted"he is also a lot closer to Scotlqnd, which i imagine when you have a young family. travelling to national squad from bournemouth must be a ball ache, he has also stated it wasn't an easy decision and to be fair the £12m newcastle paid for him it just looks like an all round decision not just wages.

tbd Newcastle is a once in a lifetime opportunity, he has already achieved about as far as Bournemouth will go for the minute, and i main no direct by that. fact is Newcastle are a massive club, bournemouth are not......... yet.

Will the Chinese take away Okazaki too now he'll be redundant?

We'll need a new RB over a CB to play that formation, else there's no width at all. The fullbacks must bomb forward and have the ability to attack and run the overlap. Ideally both positions need pace though as its a system that can be left open defensively. I honestly cant see us playing anything else if we sign Ramirez and he's given regualar game time. Perhaps 4-4-1-1 with out current personnel.

Shinji has seen enough English football, to know how to keep on his feet.

Hes become an hindurance. More now because its the link play that is missing, because he cant keep on his feet.

The other part  of his play , filling that midfield to penalty box, covering space and being annoying has become desperate.

He gets nowhere near the player, or ball. Hes failed also this season to put One  crisp clean ball through, when the chance

Was begging. With Mendy, Ndidi, Amartey, and Slimani/Vardy, I cant see any advantage he gives as 1st choice.

Why he has never, been seen to play his roles he had at Mainz baffles me.Especially when we were short in midfield.
