Wes should have been dropped a long time ago - Captain or not. Issue is........ we have nobody credible to replace him We are staring relegation in the face given our current form and something needs to happen. We need a leader. Don't shoot me but... John Terry on loan ??
Ric Flair Posted 24 January 2017 Posted 24 January 2017 As a retired defender and an Italian who craves clean sheets from his teams, it's quite incredible how few defenders Ranieri has signed. He seems uninterested in having a healthy competition for places at the back which when it's working is fine as consistency and familiarity at the back is key but when it's going wrong, there's no deterrent for these defenders when they play badly. We go 2/3-0 down in the first half mainly due to defensive errors and Ranieri makes changes to the midfield and attack but can't with the defence. He's punishing the wrong areas and can't do anything else about it. If we don't get a centre half and a new right back in then this season has been a complete farce. Last year will always be phenomenal but this season will be equally as outrageous, we're doing everything wrong.

He might be happy, but he can't really say what we think, like we need new players to replace the shower of shite letting Claudio, the club and fans down.

In the last 20 years Wenger has signed 5 billion CBs but only Campbell and Koscielny have been top notch (jury is out on Mustafi). Ranieri has only signed 2 defenders. One has been totally frozen out for unknown reasons and the other is about to join Malaga after 4 league appearances.

Yeah mate, let's replace our slow, aging, past it, unable to pass, centre backs with an ageing, past it centre back who gets sent off every time he plays. He's 37 this year, and a massive twat by all accounts. Easily the most stupid post on here.
