€7m = £5.9m

2 goals and 3 assists is 2 goals and 3 assists more than Simpson has in his Leicester career.

Yeah but how many women has he chinned? You can't deny Simpson wins there, hands down.

We certainly need another RB. Conti seems as if he's a promising player.

Hang on a tick.

We've been linked with a defender? A right back to be specific? And an up-and-coming young one at that?

Nope, don't believe it. Must be dreaming...

Lived in Bergamo a few years ago and went to a few Atalanta matches so i follow their results. Absolutely flying this year and have a very good history of producing young players and selling on for decent money.

I don't know anything specifically about this guy but I can't see them keeping hold of him if we offer decent money.

As an aside their fans are utterly mental and generate some of the best atmospheres around, cheap flights with Ryanair, easy to get tickets even for the decent matches and a lovely small city make it a decent place for a footy weekend.

Too little money offered too late, we'll finish up with no other signings.

Too late?

you make it sound like there's 30 minutes left of the transfer window...

With the amount of Italian players we've been linked with over the past couple of seasons, purely because we have an Italian manager, I've come to just ignore these threads as only a couple of them have ever came off and both of which where flops! (Beno and Inler)

But this roumer fits the bill as far as our approach to transfers, go in very low and then be stubborn until it's too late.

I was not very impressed by him from the YouTube video I watched but he is an upgrade no doubt. And he is young as he can be great in the future.

Rudders, stuff a 'sensible' offer inside that little tube around that lazy git of a pigeons kneck and point it towards Atalanta, like now.

Or the fact that our Head of Senior Player Recruitment worked at Fiorentina for 4 years....?

Macia worked in Italy

Fingers crossed he's a better judge of players! Still think that's the wrong market.

We we need to pay for some talent used to our league system for me. Too many people needing to settle in a new country with no experience of what it's like etc.

And the fact plenty of clubs have confirmed bids, or the sources have been excellent.

Yeah I agree certainly for January signings. Not sure what defenders are available for a decent price though in this window. 33 year old Jose Fonte has gone for £8m ffs.

To be honest we are at the point where we just need bodies at the back now. The very few players we have back there are all playing like absolute drains

Another Ranieri pick I'd say... going well so far.

Our new head scout recently worked in Italy...
