Guest Bilo Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 Leeds now out as well, some great results if you like a cup shock. If we get through against Derby, I'd like us to get a winnable home tie. With so many Premier League clubs out of the competition, we have a real opportunity to stake a claim.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 I have to say though that Lincoln away would be a smashing tie. A lovely city with some excellent pubs, easy ride on the train, away end that's just about the right size with a capacity of 2,000 and a decent atmosphere generated.
isaidno Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 Lincoln away end only holds 1500. Blackburn at home for me.
Babylon Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 Shame we're so shit otherwise we might stand a chance this year. Get a couple of big boys against each other and the whole thing opens up.
Koke Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 For the first time in months I'm actually confident about a game - Derby home. I saw enough of the first game that we are a class above them in terms of quality despite how crap we are. Derby are shit. Even if we play to 70% of our abilities we should beat them. We dominated them on Friday without even been that good.

Wouldnt fancy them away though, us on a hiding to nothing, them being right up for it. I suggested Blackburn because we are better than them, yet they probably wont have the "we are desperate to win and put a Premier League team out like its the best day in the clubs history" type result that will make their players lift themselves 50%
st albans fox Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 If we win the replay then the next round is four days before our game in sevilla easiest possible draw please or we will be out (as claudio bound to play a weaker side) so not much point in going through when we could have a weekend off ahead of the tie in Spain. All teams drawn against us will be likely to pick a strong side as they will know we have our minds on Sevilla and will see a quarter final opening up in front of them. therefore, we need a home tie against the weakest side left in the comp please have to be pragmatic rather than romantic

Lets not get carried away we still have to beat Derby
Guest Papasmurf Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 If we were drawn away at Sutton how many tickets would we get??

Aus Fox Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 avoid trips to Manchester or London and we should be alright: Dream draw Sutton Utd (h) Man City v Chelsea Burnley v Man utd Middlesboro v Spurs Millwall v Arsenal Lincoln v Oxford Huddersfield V Fulham Blackburn v Wolves
Stevosevic Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 Home game against a lower league side - we don't need an away game with our schedule and we'll have more chance of getting to the quarter final.

Dan Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 Such a decent chance to put a run together. Hopefully two of the ties involve two of Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City, Spurs and Chelsea. I reckon we'll get Middlesbrough at home.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 Practice run via daftlogic.com came out thus. Match 1 : Manchester City vs Huddersfield Town Match 2 : Sutton United vs Lincoln City Match 3 : Fulham vs Burnley Match 4 : Millwall vs Arsenal Match 5 : Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Tottenham Hotspur Match 6 : Oxford United vs Blackburn Rovers Match 7 : Middlesbrough vs Manchester United Match 8 : Derby/Leicester vs Chelsea
bigboy Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 If we beat Derby you all know who we'll be drawn against.......Spurs!!! Away.
nnfox Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 It'll be Sutton away. Massive banana skin a few days before Sevilla
Harry - LCFC Posted 29 January 2017 Posted 29 January 2017 I always laugh when people say "it'll be such and such at home/away" as if you can figure out what the result of a random draw will be
