why would you want a championship side?

Let's pass up the chance of playing Sutton, Lincoln, Millwall or Oxford at home so we can play a form championship team like Huddersfield instead lol

Sutton away would be good.

Sutton away would be good (hiding)?

Would snap your fingers off for that draw in all seriousness.

0-0 and hope to sneak through on penalties :schmike:

Glorious sudden death penalty win, after 65 consecutive misses from the spot, Shinji slips during his 3rd pen and hits the postage stamp.

Leeds now out as well, some great results if you like a cup shock.

If we get through against Derby, I'd like us to get a winnable home tie. With so many Premier League clubs out of the competition, we have a real opportunity to stake a claim.

I have to say though that Lincoln away would be a smashing tie. A lovely city with some excellent pubs, easy ride on the train, away end that's just about the right size with a capacity of 2,000 and a decent atmosphere generated.

Shame we're so shit otherwise we might stand a chance this year. Get a couple of big boys against each other and the whole thing opens up.

For the first time in months I'm actually confident about a game - Derby home.  I saw enough of the first game that we are a class above them in terms of quality despite how crap we are. Derby are shit. Even if we play to 70% of our abilities we should beat them. We dominated them on Friday without even been that good.

All of those at home by all means.

Wouldnt fancy them away though, us on a hiding to nothing, them being right up for it.

I suggested Blackburn because we are better than them, yet they probably wont have the "we are desperate to win and put a Premier League team out like its the best day in the clubs history" type result that will make their players lift themselves 50%

If we win the replay then the next round is four days before our game in sevilla

easiest possible draw please or we will be out (as claudio bound to play a weaker side) so not much point in going through when we could have a weekend off ahead of the tie in Spain.

All teams drawn against us will be likely to pick a strong side as they will know we have our minds on Sevilla and will see a quarter final opening up in front of them.

therefore, we need a home tie against the weakest side left in the comp please

have to be pragmatic rather than romantic

I consider pragmatic to go all out in the FA Cup and romantic wishing we only lose by 3 goals to Sevilla on aggregate.

If we beat Derby....ten of 15 possible opponents are teams we should beat on the day ( included Watford, Borough, Burnley.....) odds are on a decent draw....home would be nice.....that crap (according to many others on this site) draw could offer real opportunity......every chance of progress to the quarters....

Lets not get carried away we still have to beat Derby

Dream draw would surely have Spurs and Arsenal playing each other to make sure one of them goes out.

Such a decent chance to put a run together. Hopefully two of the ties involve two of Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City, Spurs and Chelsea.

I reckon we'll get Middlesbrough at home.
