FA Cup 5th Round Draw: Monday 7.20PM

The draw could have an effect on the Derby replay.  If we get Chelsea away or a similar bad draw Claudio may not put out too strong a side to face Derby, resting players for the PL fixture on the basis that we'd likely go out next round anyway.  If we get a 'weak' side from the lower leagues at home he may think that we can beat them without the first choice XI so put out a decent side against Derby on the expectation of a win in the next round.  He'd probably put out a strong XI if we're drawn at home against a PL team as we'd still have a realistic chance of success.

I think CR will be looking at the draw before deciding his team against the sheep. Might as well throw the replay if we get a PL team- we will lose the next round in that case; especially if Leo goes- he is one of the few actually turning up.

lol

I have but I'm trying to be optimistic.  At least we put in the effort against Derby - if we can keep doing that I hope that eventually things will start to go for us, confidence will improve and the quality of play on the pitch with it.  A good cup run wouldn't hurt.

Ideally I'd like us to draw a team in the lower half of the PL at home.

If we get through I wouldn't mind Millwall away.

It'd be a dodgy one, far from easy, not sure we would beat them tbh, I know it's not as hostile as it used to be but it'd be a hard place to dig in if needed and at the moment our players don't even pick the spade up let along dig but i'd quite like them in the next round because i've never been there, always wanted to.

I like the sound of Millwall or Fulham.

Probably get Chelsea

Exactly what I want too!

Although wouldn't mind away given that it's the last time it be White Hart Lane. Travelling support in full voice :scarf:

There are few people whove always wanted to go to Millwall away.

The Maracana it aint.

Home tie v Blackburn please, good chance of progression (Derby permitting)

We just want a home draw preferably against championship opposition, providing we can silence the rams. It will obviously depend on what team Claudio puts out and if the players will be up for it!
