He goes there and suddenly their fans are positive as they think he's been brilliant so far and much better than what they had. I'd rather make these decisions early in a summer window. They can think what they want, as long as they keep picking up points at the same rate they have done since he's arrived there I'll sleep easy!
Monk Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 He's going to look a right prat if he doesn't get a deal today. I would loan him to a championship side until the end of the season.

We seem to be pinning our hopes on nobody improving... almost every year there seems to be one team at the bottom that makes a late charge. I'm just hoping that when it comes to the arse end of the season it's us that improves as we have a few mid table dead rubbers for the other teams April / May that will be important.
Magictv Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I don't have a lot of sympathy for his situation or other footballers who want out of their club because they're not playing. If they want flexibility they should be signing 1 year contracts and accepting the downsides that come with that. As it is, it's as though he wants to have his cake and eat it. Sign up to a 3/4 year (?) contract and have the financial security that comes with that, but also be able to leave that whenever he fancies it if he's not playing enough. Likewise, if the rumours are true, people at the club shouldn't be making promises to sell people and not sticking to them.
Guest Danny Clender Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 “I feel betrayed by Ranieri and let down by the club. I will not play again for them" "But training's ok"
melrose Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 These f@cking footballers make my piss boil If they'd had some of the unfair crap that firms had chucked at me over the years while working for a pittance, I could be a bit sympathetic! Take him to the clock tower, put him in stocks and wang some rotten fruit at the precious tw@t!

Koke Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I just realised Ulloa is still sitting on that 4 year contract he signed in 2014 when he arrived. Many other players have doubled their wages recently while he probably still getting peanuts (relatively speaking). He is 30 and this is his last chance of getting a bumper contract. He won't get that here.
sly1 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 One minute his on strike ,next his training make your mind up. States not playing for leicester again
Kendal Fox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I'll always be grateful to Leo for the significance of the goals he scored for us, but very disappointed with him airing our dirty laundry like this. Also, he's injured so if a club is to make a successful bid for him by the end of today - And you get the feeling we won't let him go for anything less than 10 million - they are taking a big risk and spending a decent amount of money in the process. His injury might not clear up, might get worse, etc, etc.. I don't get it.

Hes hardly played either mate, Okazaki I can't argue with. No I don't hate him at all. It's not his fault he's not very good. I blame the club for signing him. Just my opinion. I only dislike a player when they don't put the effort in. Recent players I disliked: Beckford, Yakubu, Collymore etc.

Swansea, Hull both improving and Sunderland and Palace both have very decent managers. We are in trouble.

Quite so..I wonder how many teams counted on us as being dead certs for the drop two years back? We have to be in charge of our destiny, not praying for other results to go our way, but I really fear it's the drop this time. Tonight's result - and performance -will be really critical

He has hardly played, and when he has hes been as good as anyone else if not better. He is his national team captain, he needs more games down the middle like the Everton game.

All I've seen him do at Palace is fall over and let a goal in, and get pulled all over the shop by Man City and let 2 goals in. I know they're crap but they must be REALLY crap if Jeff's "much better than what they had".

Spicer Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Why are people surprised he's training? He is a professional footballer, he needs to be in shape to play. Nobody wants to purchase an unfit footballer.

ARTY_FOX Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I'm sure when we first signed him that twitter account was laughed off by a lot on here as obviously not really him
