I wish him well - it's a battle of wills though at the moment.

Whilst his tweet explains to the fans why he feels he needs to move on (which I supoort him in) it also is trying to push through a move.

Yeah this is a fair point. He's not going to hand in a transfer request as he might forego something on this contract.

On a side note, I was wondering why players (Fonte) dont generally hand in transfr requests anymore and found this little article...

2014/2015    Leicester    EPL    29(8)    2409    11    3    3    -    1.3    72.7    3.3    -    6.85

He will be a legend to me, 11 goals in 29 starts in a team that was bottom of the league for most of the season means we wouldn't have stayed up without him, add to the fact he was important in the closing stages of last season means, overall Legendary, wouldn't have been in the Prem last season without him.

Goodbye....was this a "post when you're p155ed" moment Leo?

More like a stupid "let's put something on Twitter before anything is made official" post.

I can't believe all of the hysteria in this thread! IMO Ulloa was fairly average and sometimes he bordered on being a liability. To call him a legend is just ridiculous! Yes he scored a penalty in an important game but I also remember him losing us 2 points with that miss against Man U.

As with any average player they're going to have good games too and at times I did enjoy seeing his first touch and headed goals.

Nowadays, The term 'legend' gets tossed about like confetti at a wedding. So much so, that it gets diluted so much it almost becomes a meaningless word.

However, As is said in Izzy's thread, it's a personal thing really. But I suggest it's only the youth amongst our ranks that could genuinely believe Ulloa is a 'club legend'?

He's reputedly a really nice bloke, polite, professional. And if he feels he should be playing more football then fine. I have no qualms in him wanting a move. Especially from this dire team.

But if Ulloa is a legend for being a part of a title winning squad, then, by definition, so is Schlupp. And I didn't see many people calling Jeff a legend when he left.

Surely he'll go down as one of our most successful ever players. Massive part in our great escape, vital in our premier league win and ****ed off in the season we turn into an absolute shambles of a team.

A few places this morning saying 5m to Sunderland before Tuesday. We would be completely foolish to help strengthen a direct rival.

If we don't at least recoup the £8 million we paid then that's poor business as there's no way his value has dropped. You're right, to sell him to a direct rival would be a daft move too.

I prefer him over slimani tbh.

Also, you can see how passionate he is about playing so why not give him a run in the first team?

He will always be remembered as part of the title winning squad, and I wish him well wherever he goes. He is going to struggle for game time if he stays and just isn't a regular goals corer. He needs Arun of games to be affective and just won't get that here. Thanks for the lasting memories Leo

surely, surely, we wouldn't sell to a direct relegation rival....would we?

I've always supported Leo, he showed attitude and commitment and Lord knows there seems to be a lack of that around at the moment. His goals kept us up and without that there wouldn't have been  a last season.

But memories...yeah....the peno again West Ham. Penalties are rarely magical goals I guess, but that one....he stepped up, cool as ice in the fifth min of extra time and with the whole weight of football history on his shoulders. And Bang!

Thanks indeed Leo

Ulloa says he won't play for Leicester again

It might not be my place to say about another team's player and I could be wrong but if he's behind Vardy, Okazaki, Slimani and possibly Musa as well then can you blame him for wanting to leave?

Can see why he's upset the club wouldn't let him leave. But then I don't watch you play twice a week.
