Didnt mention us, but mentioned it because I have been asking about the situation since the Mystery man. As someone else has said him and Kone in and this hasn't been a bad window at all.

He "won't" play for us again, why let him rot in the reserves when we can strengthen our defence by offering a trade + cash.

As mardy as Ulloa sounds, he has always given more than most out on the pitch. Can't see that changing if he stays, even if he is sulking now.

Use him as a bargaining chip I don't care.

We are only asking 6 months of him and he will get games. He has already played 15 times for us this season and will probably get another dozen or more if Slimani struggles with injury. Needs to have a sit down with Claudio, the DOF and the owners if necessary. He has 18 months left. He can't dictate to us but obviously we need him, so a compromise (probably involving financial incentive) should be able to be reached. It shouldn't have come to this, we should have had a striker lined up, so he could leave but we haven't and we can't risk not having a target man to cover Slimani. He has come into training today so he is hardly on an all out protest!
