Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 We're probably worse than Sunderland. And that's saying something. They have a goal threat. Never have I been so bored watching us. Just pitiful how we don't even shoot at goal. Worst team in the league. Deserve to go down. Everyone else down there showing fight and commitment. We just turn up, hoof it, lose the ball, concede and then repeat.

Earlier I saw you say something along the lines of "Oh what's fvck off and die man going to do". Ranieri might have won us the league but the infrastructure was well built. Pearson spend years building this club. Ranieri might walk into another club and win the league again but I don't think he's the man that can get us out of this mess. Like I said many times before, Mancini would be my choice. He has stated before that he fell in love with English football while at Leicester. Fair point re Mancini, wouldn't be against him at all. As for Pearson well, yeah I have said lots of things about him as he can't conduct himself well at all but I've always also said he did a lot of good work along the way so a mixed response from me as for Ranieri I have a lot more respect for him but even I have to admit that is wearing thin now however as Pearson got until the end of the season when we were shit the season before last I feel so should Ranieri really that said if we do change it has to be now rather than piss about with 5 games to go

We were never this bad under Pearson
stingray Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 No way in the world Hiddink is coming to Leicester. I'd settle for Gary Rowlett. Pearson is not in the running or up to job, he's proved that.

God knows how the great escape ever happened quite frankly. That said, I don't think think Pearson had ever lost the respect of his players like Claudio clearly has. We just weren't a very good team, then each and every one of them hit form at the same time, bouyed by the signing of Huth. This squad is a better one, ability wise imo. They just don't want to play for the manager.

We were newly promoted, and NP would have been the ideal manager for another go at promotion from the Championship. We also were competitive. Never got beat by more than 2 goals.

smr Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Steve Walsh... the player. Has he got any coaching badges?

kingfox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Said it last week, of all the times he has been linked with a return, this could be the best time to bring Martin O'Neill back, if he can't motivate these players then nobody can. I wouldn't mind Dyche or Wagner either, bit unrealistic but money may tempt them.

However I was never under the impression that the players weren't playing for him. I'm certain they're not playing for Claudio now. The second goal today summed that up perfectly. I think Pearson would prefer the squad now in terms of ability to the one he had two years ago.

Questionable evidence I grant you but hardly the best recommendation. According to last week's media articles his impact and opinion has been all but nullified

He got a load of dross at Brum playing well above themselves and that's a good sign. Only issue is dealing with egos who consider themselves automatic starters.
dannythefox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 No point in sacking him with 5/6 games to go it needs to be now. Least if we go down we can say we tried to stay up. Shaky till the end of the season.
iamafox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Hull and Swansea changed their managers for a reason and look at how they're playing now. Yet Claudio is still here and we continue to see the same old shit performances every week. It wouldn't hurt to make the change now, but the owners are scared to take action.
