daverollo Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 I'd take Simon Grayson over Warburton every day of the week. Solid track record in league 1 and Championship. His teams play football and the icing on the cake was a popular Leicester player.

Waaaay more entertaining.

I just don't think he's disrespecting the fans or not caring for the club. That would be just unfair to presume something like that from him. He just has his own ideas about what is good for the team. Too bad they don't seem to be the right ones atm. And I do not want to pick one with you. I just don't like the way he is handling it. Be it through the media or his manangement of the situation. I do put him on top of the pile in terms of who is to blame. He is the manager. People insult players left right and centre on here. Why is Claudio the man for the plaudits when it goes right but clear of all criticism when it goes wrong. It's collective in both cases.

Then your an idiot.....he deserves respect from every single Leicester fan. I am one who will never forget him and he will always hold a special place in my heart...I do grant that he may need to go which is extremely sad but don't be a muppet and don't show some respect! i personally would put Shakey in charge IF there was a change to be made.....

Thank you for your opinion. how you choose to hold Claudio is your own choice. Who you choose to appoint is yours also. I won't be telling you how to feel.
dannythefox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 I really don't think ranieri will get us promotion if we go down.

CosbehFox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 The respect thing with Ranieri is interesting. He won us a league under his leadership but at the same time, according to recent media he's actively scrapped backroom parts what made it work so well. Its like someone's inheriting a listed building and then wanting to knock a new entrance in the walls.
Raw Dykes Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Honestly, I'd take absolutely anyone. Just the change in itself might be enough to snap the players out of their slumber. It can't get any worse than this. It actually can't. I've been sure we'll be relegated for a long while now. I'd get Rowett in asap and let him use the rest of the season to plan for an overhaul of the squad in the summer. We need to plan for a Championship promotion challenge right now.

Give me proof otherwise at the moment I have no problem with people saying things need to change but I asked what? who to replace Ranners? Who? What? You always call Pearson names. Always. Earlier I saw you say something along the lines of "Oh what's fvck off and die man going to do". Ranieri might have won us the league but the infrastructure was well built. Pearson spend years building this club. Ranieri might walk into another club and win the league again but I don't think he's the man that can get us out of this mess. Like I said many times before, Mancini would be my choice. He has stated before that he fell in love with English football while at Leicester.
dylanlegend Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Martin O'Neill. He proved in the summer he's still got it. Also I quite like Roy Keane and I'd take him as assistant for further manager
BenTheFox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 First choice would be Wagner from Huddersfield. Won't happen though.
Merging Cultures Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Look, call for Ranieri to go all you like but please don't call our greatest ever manager an idiotThe Club managed our greatest achievement last season. It was more than one person and built on the success of previous seasons and a manager who had a hand in every aspect of the club. Claudio did well with a solid structure built before he arrived. The second season any manager is in charge tends to have more of their influence on the club...
GloverFox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 ... Gary Megson might come in .... perhaps we could keep him longer than 41 days this time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????? ...... already got my coat .... fooooking off right now!

Tuna Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Could you imagine Ranieri in the championship? It would be like Felix Magath at Fulham. It's taken them years to turn themselves round.
Robin JD Popley Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 I will never bring myself to outrightly call for his resignation. I was one of his biggest advocates when he took over and I was so much happier with him at the helm than I ever was with his predecessor - as many of you know. However, after today, I just hope a decision is made which is amicable between all parties because I hate seeing him getting humiliated. I think he, himself, knows he is running out of ideas and the players aren't playing for him. No matter how anyone tries to pull the wool over our eyes; you see if from the stands clearly. Yet, if there could be a deal struck where he stays in a Board Role or better still, made DoF over Rudkin, I'd be delighted. Admittedly, the latter at present, seems wishful thinking but I thank Mr Claudio Ranieri for enabling my boyhood dreams of seeing my club, our club, win the top flight title actually come true. In his stead? Of those mentioned, Gary Rowett but I think the board would more likely choose someone like Di Matteo - given his PL experience. Whatever happens, though, the writing is on the wall as far as our Premiership status goes unless the inevitable sadly takes place.
GloverFox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Joking aside with Megson, Gary Rowett did okay with the blue-noses ... but would he be the inspirational leader to turn the sewage farm of a team we have around? Twitter just claim CR has gone!?

Except much better obv.
foxfanazer Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Anyone! And fast! Hoping the new manager bounce alone will be enough to revitalise us. We will.get relegated with Ranieri, simple as that
Tielemans63 Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Sean Dyche. Yes he's a bit of a twat but he is literally exactly what we need right now. No nonsense, organised and disciplined. Think he'd be ace.

Whatever he might have said today, or for weeks before that, doesn't seem to have been much help. Questionable evidence I grant you but hardly the best recommendation.
