18th. I think Sunderland's time has come and I think we'll just finish ahead of Hull. It all comes down to Palace, who I think will be saved by Big Sam. Every other team are simply better than us.

Based on the fact we are outside the relegation area with 13 games to play, 5 of which are very winnable home games.

If anyone genuinely thinks we are down then re-morgage your house and you will almost triple your wealth with the odds on offer.

We had four months under Pearson of lots of people saying "forget it, we are down" - it's ridiculous, you are down when you have an "R" next to your name, not when you are 17th with 39 points to play for.

You've just said three losses are guaranteed against three sides we haven't lost to yet this season, get a grip.

If you genuinely think we are down give me 10/1 on us staying up.

I said if things go on we're down. Yes and I stand to it.

We  have two consecutive, probable trashings against Sevilla and Liverpool. Champions League is then over. You can't imagine what for a devastating effect it can have.

We have neither found our starting XI nor our best formation. It is mid-february. We have a coach, who by his own admission, persisted to play w*nkers just out of loyalty to the last year. I let you imagine how the dressing room looks like.

You're mentioning the draws against Arsenal and Tottenham. But that was ages ago and with a fully other mindset. Back then we still had some energy and envy. Are you seriously expecting to beat or even draw against Arsenal away, when we lost against Palace and got trashed by Soton? Man City away? Who needs to get a grip?

I see us beating Hull, Sunderland and Bournemouth home. Not sure about Stoke or Watford.

I might be pessimistic but at least I'm basing my argumentation on facts, yours rather on blind optimism.

What's the odds on us staying up ?

I'm having a tenner on it if it's 5s or 10s

Something will change I'm sure

But let me think.......................... yep I didn't put a tenner on us last season because ?

Something will change I'm sure

We're fvcked

We are 17th in February.

Not 20th ten points adrift in April, get a grip.

I think you are the one that needs to wake up mate! We are the worst team in the league by far, no hiding from it

i've got a grip i'm just being a realist

I'm between 17th and 18th but put 18th. Think the game against Bournemouth could be massive. There are 5 home games where we probably need 11 or 12 points and then hope that there are 3 shitter teams.

I said 17th. I think we will do just enough at home and grab a fluky win somewhere on the road. Maybe and hopefully at Palace! I think 15 points from last 13 games is a possibility and might be enough. Must beat Hull and Sunderland at home.

20th and relegated. I think we'll be gone with 2 games left on current form. That's how bad its become.

I don't see us getting out of this slump with Claudio in charge.

I also don't see the board sacking Claudio.

Cant see how we're gonna win another game to be honest. I think we'll finish bottom quite comfortably.

Basically this is along my train of thought.

Its not like we're bad. We're nigh on atrocious!

Can't believe how many of you think we are doomed but Palace will be fine. They are the only side in the league that look as bad if not worse than us, 4-0 defeat at home to Sunderland could you imagine.

For what it's worth I still believe (hope) Sunderland Palace and Hull will drop.

I also believe Palace are doomed.

I mean, they signed Schlupp for next season right?

I can't see us finishing above Hull. They look a decent side now. I think they'll finish with around 10 points more than us.

I'm convinced we'll finish 20th. This side would struggle in the Championship. I'm not exaggerating, either. We're absolutely hopeless at the moment. Can't attack or defend. Concede once and you just know we've lost.

We are currently the fourth worst team in the league, that's why we are 17th.

The only saving grace is that there are some sh*t teams in this division, some really bad teams. I mean can you imagine just how bad Palace must be to be a side that can go 4-0 down at home to Sunderland in a league match by half time?

Us, Middlesboro, Palace, Sunderland, Hull and Swansea are all capable of going down, two very poor sides will stay up and we've got to make sure we are one of them.

With the latest reported news about Ranieri's future I wouldn't bet on us beating anyone in the Premiership at the moment which points pretty emphatically towards relegation and more especially considering we're not actually showing any promise in any phases of the game be it scoring goals, making goals or keeping them out.

Add to this the mood with the club and I really can't imagine any of the other relegation contenders doing worse than us.

Even the "Fearless" rallying cry seems laughable now because we cave in and look sorry for ourselves the moment we suffer a setback with Swansea being just the latest of many examples.

Indeed, seeing the word "Fearless" plastered across the outside of our stadium seems more like a mockery of the Trades Description Act than a promise relating to our  opponents.

Palace, Hull and Sunderland win next weekend we'll be bottom by the time we play Liverpool lol

Granted, Sunderland winning at Everton is unlikely but you never know. We're looking at being 19th though with Palace and Hull having good home games.

We can still lose 4-0 to Sunderland at home and 4-0 to Palace away! We are the worst team in the 92 football league clubs at the moment on form.

When you say on form, form over how many games?

Over the last 10 we have won 1, drawn 2.

Palace have won 1 drawn 1

Boro have won 1 drawn 4

Hull, Sunderland and Bournemouth have won 2 and drawn 2.

Yes ours is shit, in fact it's worse than shit, but let's not kid ourselves any of the teams around us are doing any better.

Only Swansea of the bottom 8 have had more than 2 wins in the last 8.

We still have a better goals against than all apart from Boro, and have scored more goals than Sunderland Middlesbrough and Hull.

My point is not to say it's all Rosie and everything's is going to be fine, it's more that we maybe shit but everyone down there is shit and we are far from dead and burried.

You are quite right on this.

In spite of all the bloody rally crys, all the 'sing your hearts out' type posts (are these people for real ffs?), seeing the 'Fearless' stuff is an absolute bloody embaressment.

I'm sick of all the talking, debating, and blaming. It's a nonsense situation and should have been sorted weeks ago.

Never thought at the start of the season that I was being overly ambitious voting 9th-10th

We'll finish 19th. Nothing will be changed from now until the end of the season sonnet used to the idea of championship football again folks

I think Palace are one of the infinitesimal group of teams we haven't lost to aren't they.

15th.

Can see the rot finally stopping for good and confidence coming back, in terms of getting more wins.

Also, teams like Bournemouth, Watford and Middlesbrough will probably decline a bit after having fairly decent seasons by their own standards.

Surprised less people are questioning Boro's credentials. They defend well enough, but don't have any firepower - they'll draw winnable games because of it (like against us). I reckon we'll finish above them, Sunderland, and palace. Hull and Swansea are better than us by a long way at the minute.
